    hhmm..di ba honda phils sa mga yuchenco 'to..?di ba pacific plans yuchenco din..? di ba pacific plans cash-strapped..?..baka pinatongan presyo mga honda cars para makatulong bayad don sa pacific plan holders..?

    malayo o malapit na logic manto imho it makes a lot of sense to me..

    yup, except honda alabang, which belongs to the ayalas.
    ang alam ko sa yuchengco is shaw and manila.

    Hmmm. Sounds like head office ang nagtaas at hindi individual dealers. Unless theyr'e also corporate officers, dealers don't usually dictate prices (unethical yung ganoon eh). AFAIK, the big money of HCPI comes from MBTC and Ayala.

    Yung pagtaas ng presyo from MNCs, pinagusapan yan nung budget conference sometimes last year. Prices usually go up in anticipation of higher costs/expenses for the rest of the year, and usually ibig sabihin hindi maitaas ng enough yung unit sales to offset those cost increases. AFAIK, ganun yun. The timing could be better though.

    actually honda *makati* is a yuchengco company, it's in the top 100 corporations nga eh.
