Honda Civic 1996 - Ignition switch problem - can't put the switch back to zero (0)

Hello tsikoteers!

I have a problem with the ignition switch problem of my Honda Civic 96. Following is the summary

• I can start the car.
• I can drive the car.
• I can still pull the key out o the ignition switch key hole (nasa "I") nga lang naka-point yung part of the key.
• The problem is, I can't move the key-hole back to zero (0) to totally turn cut some of the electrical circuits (...?). Matigas na siya..

Following is the actual position ngayon na naka-off siya.


I removed the battery connector para maiwasan na ma-discharge. I already tried spraying the key hole with WD40 but to no avail.


Any ideas? Any idea how much it would cost me to repair or replace this part?

I've been driving the car for almost 4 years already.

I can still PUSH but can't rotate counter-clockwise so hindi umaabot ang susi sa zero.
Thankfully, I can still pull the key kahit nasa "I" siya... which I think in newer car hindi pwede itong gawin.

Still, hassle because I worry na baka ma-discharge and battery ko while in a mall, etc.

afaik, maski lumang kotse hindi dapat nahuhugot yung key hanggang wala sa "0",
pacheck up mo muna sa casa for proper diagnosis, bubuksan nila siguro yan,
and more likely there is something there na laspag na, baka replacement of a part,
pero kung sweswertehin, pwedeng cleaning lang ang katapat. goodluck!
