just got a 2nd hand 00' model crv (90thou + kms). [oo bobo na po sorry na]

I dont know how much they got it for. The problem is the transmission is slipping. Everytime your about to go into maybe 3rd or 4th gear the engine revs up to 4k rpms then you feel it shift into the next gear.

I don't know if it can be returned which is probably not going to happen.

Napa-tune up ko na po. bago spark plugs (ung super 4 kung ano man un), bago oil filter, havoline synthetic oil (yes n-flush out ung lumang oil). bago air filter. coolant. change ATF na rin. hindi pa napalitan timing belt (ubos na cash ko at mas worried ako sa a/t slip)

so my question really is, aside from bringing the unit to Honda (which'll drain my money) where can I bring this car in to have the transmission replaced? i live near marcos hi-way sa may sta.lucia, robinsons metroeast area but I can go to QC/manila to get this fixed.

and how much ang overall cost with labor usually?

I'd really appreciate your input on where (shop name, who to look for, where the shop is) and how much it'd probably cost

Same thing happened to our 99' Accord, at first dinala namin sa casa and they wanted to change the whole transmission(P200,000). So we brought it to Class-A Motorcraft in Banawe upon the recommendation of a friend and they overhauled the transmission, mga nasa P50,000 umabot yung total bill saka medyo may katagalan bago natapos (hirap daw hanapin yung parts) its been almost a year since na-repair yun A/T pero maganda naman yung pagkagawa.

Transmission is a very complex, many mechanic could not pinpoint exactly the cause of problem when things arise. Rebuilding also is not wisely since sometimes it could cost you more than buying a new one plus your mechanic most know the exact science of how will the tranny works during the process.

Now the question is, did you or did you not check your A/T fluid. Low on fluid could cause your tranny a lot of problem. Like hard shifting, delayed or it will not move your car at all. This also happen if you overfill it. Bring your car into a service area, replace your tranny fluid and filter before jumping the costly repair. Remember, nobody...nobody could tell exactly the cause until that tranny drop into the table. There just only asking more money out from you.

what atf are you using? anything other honda atf-z1 WILL cause nasty shifting problems.

if you are using other atf brands i suggest you change it out to atf-z1 muna. buy 6 liters, change out 3, gamitin mo for a week or two, then change it again using the last 3 bottles. it's called flushing, because a honda tranny always leaves a liter or two of the old atf sa tranny and the only way to get it all out is to either do two change cycles or drop the whole tranny.

wag ka muna mag shopping ng bagong transmission. try the least expensive stuff first.

bro try mo na din dalhin sa forcedspeed or speedyfix if you like. trusted iyan among honda people so i think they can help you w/ your crv problems. i don't know their address in qc and mandaluyong respectively, so might as well google or search mo na lang sila dito.

Burnt clutches probably that it so hard to engaged na. It may cost about P40-50T, bihira bumabaklas kasi walang special tools at diagrams. May kilala ako marapating mong ipakilala ko sya sa iyo. Magaling to at experienced sa honda automatic :foryou:. Maniwala ka at ikaw ay hindi magsisisi. :secret::callme:
