rims and tires help! civic 96 vti

hey! first time poster po ako.. i have a white 96 honda civic. stock mags yung nakalagay ngayon. i want to change it sana pero i need help kung ano yung bagay for the car and preferrably yung mura yet maganda. wala naman ako definite budget pero sana talaga yung mga nasa lower to mid-end ng price lists. a price range would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance!

what's wrong with your old set of stock mags? they look great naman, at least for me .

i have rota MSRs 16 wrapped in 55 series dunlop lemans. quite recently identified thanks to the nice folks at the detailing subforum . they're quite old, but, i think they still do the job (the mags i mean).



just remember to fill up the wheel well and make sure na hindi sayad sa inner fender liners when you make full turns.

sir are you upgrading to bigger rims?
the "banana" type old school rims would look good sa 96, i saw it once at nainlove ako! forgot lang yung brand. ill post it kung makita ko.

ano color ng oto mo?
a set of 15" Rota J-SPL rims na black would look nice in it, imho.

nothing's wrong with it naman pero for me kasi, i think that everything starts from the wheels. i think hindi kasi masyado bagay yung stock wheels pag sineset-up na yung civic eh. i dunno pero yun lang sa tingin ko. im kinda new when it comes to mags kasi i also have a city pero yung mags that came with it yung limited edition mags ng honda so hindi ko na pinalitan. is it also advisable if i buy 2nd hand mags? may mga nakikita kasi ako magaganda naman, pede sa civic, for around 25k. last, how much would a brand new set on average be worth? yung sa friend ko kasi around 60-70k daw para sa vios niya.

sir do you wanna go 15's or 17's or higher? kasi sa 15's na 2nd hand... definitely mas mura sa 25k meron and matino pa... ingat lang sa pagbili ng 2nd hand minsan cover up lang ng mga dealers yung defect. pero if your have the budget for a new set then mas ok... rotas will cost around 25k-30k for 15's. sa design, ako kasi kung old school ride, old school din yung rims... pero meron naman yung mga bago na swak sa 96...

it really depends on how you would like your car to look at...
