    Thanks.

err... before, unleaded and premium gas are basically the same except for their octane ratings. premium's is higher. no problem alternating w/ them. but now unleaded gas is mixed with Ethanol which from what i know, honda released a list of vehicles who can and can't consume gas w/ E10. 98 civics are not advised to consume gas w/ E10. thus i would say it's better that you use premium gas. XCS, Gold,...

I tried to check the pertron web site, may iba iba pala sila unleaded products. XCS PLUS, BLAZE, at XTRA Unleaded. Ung Xtra unleaded is may E10 na, tama po ba? My idea kayu about BLAZE?
    Site: http://www.petron.com/fueljourneys/f...fuels-pxcs.asp

Loyal Shell unleaded kasi ako, pero now, may e10 na unleaded nila, napansin ko effect ng unleaded e10 ng shell is lumakas consume ng gas at may vibrate sa makina pag low gear. (car is civic 98 vtec vti).

For caltex naman po yun silver nila is may E10 na, so oks lang ba Gold?

Ang malapit po kasi samin is shell, caltex and total. Gusto ko sana without E10. Malayo kasi petron, kaya if ever ano po masusugest nyo na ok gamitin (non-e10).

Wala rin E10 yung Blaze (97RON IIRC), pero halos P10 more expensive than XCS eh... not worth it for me.

Read your manual, from what I know, Honda CR-V requires at least 95 octane.

unleaded vs premium?
