    Hi guys. Matagal na itong account ko pero once in a blue moon ko lang buksan.

    Naalala ko lang itong account ko dito since etong aking ibabahagi ko sa inyong karanasan eh about my newly acquired car last February 19. 2011. Here it goes:

    We bought the 1.8Civic at HONDA SHAW. Makatapos ang pirmahan, etc., etc. They promised ofcourse the freebies that came with the vehicle. I specifically requested for a 3m Superblack tint. After we picked it up, wow, chromium ang nakakabit. The agent told me, "sir yan po yung super black namin eh". What?! Malayo ang chromium sa superblack tint! Fine. Hindi na lang ako nagsalita.

    So far so good, until I gave the car her first TLC (Tender Loving Care):inlove: carwash. The drip moulding of the roof, and the cowl top was loose, the left taillight has a creaking sound everytime you push it (other car on display on the showroom doesn't have this sound), the mouldings of the side under spoiler has come off, hard shifting to first gear when on neutral or on other gears, steering is turned to the left when driving straight and when I put it on the center position, it has this tendency to turn slightly to the right, adhesives on the door visors is starting to come off and on the front of the visor, there is no adhesive on that part.

    I called the showroom to tell them that I have concerns about the car. The people told me that I address those concerns on its first 1,000km check-up. I said okay. Then they scheduled me on March 21, 2011. Monday morning, HONDA called me that I was moved to March 23, due to backlogs of their service. Sabi ko, sige, since I don't want to part with my car for a long time. Wednesday came, and I brought it to the service department and addressed my concerns. They said they'll look into it and have it fixed.

    The problem is, they told me about the steering problem that they must charge me for One Thousand Six Hundred Pesos for wheel allignment. HUH?!?! WTF?! The car is still new, and they going to charge me? Sabi nila, sa first 500 lang daw libre ang wheel allignment, to which I say, sinabi nyo sa akin sa first 1,000km ko i-address ang problema tapos yan ang sasabihin nyo? Ni hindi man lang sinabi sa akin yung ganun when I bought the car!

    Now, the car is still at HONDA SHAW being fixed about the other concerns besides the steering. I called my agent and he suggested that I pay the 1,600 pesos and marerefund ko daw yun sa April 15. I declined and insisted that they should fix it free of charge! I am not going to pay for a vehicle that has a problem, bought new, CASH! "Kausapin mo yung higher-up nyo tungkol dito. BS itong pamamalakad ng company nyo" sabi ko. So he told me to wait until tomorrow morning kung ano ang kakalabasan nito. For me, this is a big BS! Said steering problem should fall under the 3year warranty period. Even other faults of a vehicle should arise, it still should fall under the warranty, unless the owner of said vehicle changed, or somewhat modified the unit and I haven't done anything to the vehicle.

    So, yun ang nangyayare sa akin ngayon. Comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Dami ah.

    Nagmamadali nanaman sila ng pagproduce ng units kaya nagkapalpak palpak nanaman yung quality ? Hmmm.

    Parang sa sinabi mo bro eh, meron bang ibang units na nagka-problem like mine?

    honda shaw? ayala to e no.

    may isang complaint din ata dito na honda makati naman - ayala ata uli yun. tsk tsk

    Sir kalolkohan yang bayad sa wheel alignment. Underwarranty yan nung nagpa wheel alignment ako sa Honda Spa dahil may kabig wala ako binayaran. Kung nagkalokoloko pa din i pull out niyo na lang dalhin niyo sa Honda SPA along Mindanao Ave. Madali kausap mga SA dun kesa sumakit pa ulo niyo diyan sa shaw

    IMHO hindi talaga magaling ang mga casa ng Ayala Group.

    Go to Honda SPA along Mindanao Avenue QC. Yuchengco Group ang may hawak nun. Magaling sila, pwede mo pa bantayan ang kotse mo habang ginagawa.

    In view of this ha, ewan lang kung insecure kasi mga ibang ayala employees kasi feeling nila BPI at GT yung sikat at malaki kita. Para bang kelangan nila ng mga ganyang extra racket para tumaas siguro commission or whatever. Nakakainis nga ganyan. Malamang alam nila na problematic yan kaso namimili ng bebentahahan. Parang HAS din ah. Magulang.

    Grabe bad service tlga feedback to any ayala owned dealership...Im about to get my jazz next week them, so far the freebies are the issues but hopefully no issues of this kind will happen to me. Ok lng magkaprob sa pag haggle ng freebies wag lng sa car mismo, that's too tough to swallow, para kang niloko sa money mo, But this are good pointers to avoid problems. I'll road test the car and check everything up to the squeeking sound first before signing anything. Keep complaining, always remember the customer is always right .

    Chief tama yan kung ako sayo il talk to the branch head and NAG to the MAX. Hip some Ass if kailangan. BS yan chief. kung kailangan mong MEGAPHONE to attract some people. loko yang SHAW na yan. Nasa warranty pa yan wag ka papadaig sa mga corrupt yan.. demo car pa siguro binigay pa sa iyo.. tsk..tsk..tsk

    Sorry to hear that, I always thought since it is Honda, automatic reliable yan..


    Bad service po ba talaga sa Honda Shaw? Dun kasi ako kukuha ng sasakyan by 2nd week of April. Me mga nakuha ako free na leather seats, baka pangit ang gawin nila!

    Matanong nga kung pwede alarm nalang. :S

    Also, I guess I saw a checklist from an active poster about things to check before taking your new car out of the casa. Di ko mahanap ulit.. Maybe it will be usueful for people who will be getting their new cars

    Minsan talaga mas maganda pa yung mabilis maubos ang bilhin, kasi new stock palagi, kaso mabilis din ang paggawa kaya baka d rin pulido pag kakagawa. Almost all products ngayon d maiwasan may ilang nakakalusot sa quality check na may defects. Hopefully maayos din yan issue mo

I really kept my eye on this thread and even printed out a copy...as soon as my Jazz is ready for pick up, I'll use the checklist, I dont care if it takes the whole day just to check,, what's important is walang sisihan pagnalabas na ng casa...hirap pa man din maghabol ng warranty like hunterG's situation.

    sir ganyan talaga ang mga casa. basta wag kayong papayag na bayaran yan kasi warranty talaga dapat yan, pag nagalit palang yung customer dun nila ginagawa ung tama

    Malas naman mukang may defect yung car and then top up with a bulok service from an Ayala Honda one-two punch yan hehehe...

    isa nanaman ogag na casa, dapat pangalanan din kung sinong SA yan para hindi na makapam-biktima pa.

    Sad to hear what you went through. True enough, meron talagang mga Service Advisor na sobrang tumaga pagdating sa service. Pag hindi ka pumalag sa presyo nila sasamantalahin ka nyan. But in your case , your car is still under warranty, so there should be no charge at all.

Very disappointed with HONDA Phil.
