Hi guys. Matagal na itong account ko pero once in a blue moon ko lang buksan.
Naalala ko lang itong account ko dito since etong aking ibabahagi ko sa inyong karanasan eh about my newly acquired car last February 19. 2011. Here it goes:
We bought the 1.8Civic at HONDA SHAW. Makatapos ang pirmahan, etc., etc. They promised ofcourse the freebies that came with the vehicle. I specifically requested for a 3m Superblack tint. After we picked it up, wow, chromium ang nakakabit. The agent told me, "sir yan po yung super black namin eh". What?! Malayo ang chromium sa superblack tint! Fine. Hindi na lang ako nagsalita.
So far so good, until I gave the car her first TLC (Tender Loving Care):inlove: carwash. The drip moulding of the roof, and the cowl top was loose, the left taillight has a creaking sound everytime you push it (other car on display on the showroom doesn't have this sound), the mouldings of the side under spoiler has come off, hard shifting to first gear when on neutral or on other gears, steering is turned to the left when driving straight and when I put it on the center position, it has this tendency to turn slightly to the right, adhesives on the door visors is starting to come off and on the front of the visor, there is no adhesive on that part.
I called the showroom to tell them that I have concerns about the car. The people told me that I address those concerns on its first 1,000km check-up. I said okay. Then they scheduled me on March 21, 2011. Monday morning, HONDA called me that I was moved to March 23, due to backlogs of their service. Sabi ko, sige, since I don't want to part with my car for a long time. Wednesday came, and I brought it to the service department and addressed my concerns. They said they'll look into it and have it fixed.
The problem is, they told me about the steering problem that they must charge me for One Thousand Six Hundred Pesos for wheel allignment. HUH?!?!WTF?! The car is still new, and they going to charge me? Sabi nila, sa first 500 lang daw libre ang wheel allignment, to which I say, sinabi nyo sa akin sa first 1,000km ko i-address ang problema tapos yan ang sasabihin nyo? Ni hindi man lang sinabi sa akin yung ganun when I bought the car!
Now, the car is still at HONDA SHAW being fixed about the other concerns besides the steering. I called my agent and he suggested that I pay the 1,600 pesos and marerefund ko daw yun sa April 15. I declined and insisted that they should fix it free of charge! I am not going to pay for a vehicle that has a problem, bought new, CASH! "Kausapin mo yung higher-up nyo tungkol dito. BS itong pamamalakad ng company nyo" sabi ko. So he told me to wait until tomorrow morning kung ano ang kakalabasan nito. For me, this is a big BS! Said steering problem should fall under the 3year warranty period. Even other faults of a vehicle should arise, it still should fall under the warranty, unless the owner of said vehicle changed, or somewhat modified the unit and I haven't done anything to the vehicle.
So, yun ang nangyayare sa akin ngayon. Comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
