    just saw the facelifted honda civic 2.0S at the honda makati show room!

    sweet!!!

    new bigger bumper
    smoked headlights
    quad tail lights
    2.0 comes standard with 17 inch 10 spoke mags
    carbon bronze color is available in 1.8S variant.

    Any spec upgrades for the facelifted Civics?

    Update:
    Saw the specs from the official site.

    Is Honda nuts?
    The 1.8V still doesn't have a single airbag! ...and they already raised the prices!

    basically the same specs lang... just exterior and interior changes. and of course price changes/increases as well!!!

    after reading the Spec list... i observed that there are some features that were deleted from the previous edition Civic 2.0 S-L compared to the new edition Civic 2.0S:
    -No VSA (vehicle stability assist)!
    -No Side Airbags!
    -No in-dash 6 cd changer!
    ^^^
    guys, please confirm this on your next visit to the showroom. please correct me if i'm wrong.

    but im glad that paddle shifters are now available at the 1.8S A/T!

    no airbags on the 1.8V??? haiz...

    yeah, airbags should be standard na on all variants of the civic... kahit na on the driver's side lang!

    i wasn't able to ask about those specs on the 2.0, since i'm interested in the 1.8S M/T

    They have limited stocks of the new FD, around 200 plus lang ata across all dealerships... parang they are still testing the waters for the car's acceptance... hmmm... so kung hindi sya patok, babalik sila with the old FD?!

    post ko sa team FD:

    kaya pala nag baba ang price ng 2.0L ngayon kasi 2.0S nalang sya. meaning wala na yung premium features like VSA, hydrophobic side mirrors, 6 disc changer, side airbags, chrome door handles, hood & trunk insulators.. not sure kung wala na rin yung HID.

    700+ nalang nila kukunin yung 1.8S ko. tapos 200-250k yung Optra.. so parang lugi parin

    Those rims look eerily similar to the rims found on the Accord, those spokes curve outward making them so succeptible to rubbing against the curb.

    No airbags? Honda makes at least P150,000 on each car sold and they can't an airbag? Even the Chevrolet Aveo has two airbags...

    Pero maskin may driver side tire yung jeep parang mas gusto ko pa rin nasa Civic ako during a collision
