hi guys need ur advice once again, npansin ko nung isang araw n khit ipress ko ung accelerator ay mabagal p din andar ng tsikot ko, after a while naging okay na ulit, npansin ko din n di siya nag-shi-shift ng gear. tpos kahapon pinacheck ko sa mekaniko, start nmin engine okay nman at ganda pa sounds, then may npansin ako bago problema kasi nung nilagay ko sa D4 nmamatay siya ganun din nung nilagay ko sa PARK, what could be the problem? sabi kasi nung mekaniko bka daw s transmission? tnx in advance ayaw ko kasi ipagalaw muna without the advice of my fellow tsikoteers, medyo complex kasi ang AT at msakit din sa bulsa. tnx again in advance

with the age of the car, diyan nagsisimula maging sakit sa ulo ang matic.

more on the probable side na matic nga ang problem. try replacing your ATF first.

bro just had my transmission overhauled, i'm not saying that you should have yours overhauled too, expensive talaga. cost me around 25k +, but i got a good deal, former honda technician sya sa honda queazon ave, wag mo papatignan kahit kanino lang at baka madagdagan pa problem mo, cant really tell you what your problem is pero i understand na mahirap talaga pag may problema sa transmission, try to call this guy, nasa cavite ang shop nya..

bro same problem here, parang naghihilikpag umaarangkada. also hard shifting sia tagal mag change gear.i tried going to a reputable honda specialist. they suggested to overhaul the tranny which will set me back aroud 50k. whoooaaa. what i did is to do a little bit of research and found a very knowleadgeable mechanic located in mindanao avenue. the only problem was the ATF. i had it changed with the ATF being sold besides their shop, around 800 php for four liters. we had it changed and it really fixed the crap. he charged me 200 pesos. after 2 weeks il be changing my ATF oil to dislodge the remaining sludge inside the tranny. im plannig to put motul though.

i agree with the simple solution, bcause it will cost you less, but in the long run its temporary and bibigay din ang transmission mo... baka imbis na repair kita lang ang papalitan, lumala pa lalo and you will end up paying for more, but thats me.....

kahit na old model na sasakyan, dapat sundin pa din servicing ng auto, gaya nyan, ATF oil viscosity lang pala problema....

Pati Filter papalitan na din....kung ayon sa sked...

ATF should be changed regularly, parang engine oil din yan.
sa honda use only honda ATFZ1. Replace every 2 years or 40T kms which ever comes first.

Dati nagkarga ako ng caltex ATF (naubusan kasi casa ng ATF dahil sa high demand after ondoy) after a few days hindi smooth ang shifting nya and parang ang bagal or mahina hatak.

Nung may stock na honda nag palit kaagad ako ng ATF and upto now the car runs the same way it did when it was brand new ;)

Bro, I think parehas tau ng technician. Was it Mr. Mel Casaba? If so, highly recommended ko yan. Di naman ako nagpaoverhaul ng AT transmission ko pero nagpaservice ako sa knya. Guys...di po yan nananaga ng presyo. Mura lang maningil. Ang pinaservice ko lang po sa knya ay tune-up with valve tappet clearance. Since nakita nya na naliligo sa langis yung 2 sparkplugs ko, tinanggal nya ang rocker arm and nakita nyang palitin na yung o-rings, since di pa available sa honda dasma yung o-ring na yun (CAM HOLDER o-ring ang name nung pyesa) ginawan muna nya ng paraan yung o-ring ko by applying hi-temp sealant then pag ready na yung inorder kong o-ring sa Honda, ikakabit nalang nya. Hinigpitan din nya yung timing belt ko since medyo maluwag daw. Even yung throttle body nilinis din nya. Then, pinalitan din nya yung alternator and p/s belt ko. So far...ok ang gawa!! Ang damage fee ko lang sa knya P350, gulat talaga ako kasi I was expecting na aabutin ako ng more than 1K+. Sa tuwa ko, binigay ko P500, pang-meryenda na rin hehehe..Ica-carwash pa nga nya sana yung oto ko kaso nagmamadali ako.

Guys...magaling sya sa transmission overhaul..kaya if may problema kayo related to transmission or any mechanical problem at kung malapit lang kayo sa area namin.Please don't hesitate to call Mr. Mel Casaba. Di pa kayo tatagain talga. Actually naginquire din ako re: AT overhaul if dumating ako sa point na magpapaoverhaul ng AT..sabi nya malaki na daw yung 18k and give pa nya ako discount with 1-year warranty pa.

Tulong ko na lng po sa knya ang pag-refer ng mga customer since bagong tayo nya yung shop sa Cavite pero dati syang may shop sa Paranaque.

I just hope makatulong po sa inyo para di po kayo magastusan ng malaki at di pa-chamba chamba ang gawa sa mga oto nyo.
