Mga pulitiko o may mga koneksyon lang dito ang magkakaroon niyan....

At least the Japanese CR-Z looks better than the US/Canadian version. The elongated nose on the North American models is simply horrible and destroys the look of the car.
For something touting itself as a "hybrid sports car" this is a tad underwhelming. Mechanically, apart from the hybrid bits, it's very very similar to the GE Fit/Jazz - right down to the torsion-beam rear suspension. Then again the Fit/Jazz is a pretty good drive so I guess the CR-Z shouldn't be so bad.
No way to see if it's any good until we can test-drive it methinks...not much of a chance of that here though
By the way is "ZF1" the chassis code for the CR-Z?

There's one difference from the Jazz/Fit that I really like:
The "rigidly attached steering gearbox" suggests that they've moved from a firewall mounted box to a rack mounted box, which gives much better steering feel. This is the trick BMW (on the Mini) and Mazda use to give better steering feel.· The high-output EPS offers quick steering gear ratio of 2.48 turns lock to lock, while the rigidly attached steering gearbox contributes to the direct steering feel.
I wish they'd do this for all GE-chassis cars.

With a six-speed manual box and a 1.5 liter plus electric assist drivetrain, performance should be good. The Toyota Prius did 0-100 km/h in 10 seconds with just a 1.5 liter motor and a CVT... the CR-Z, being smaller and lighter, with a better gearbox, should do it in around 8 seconds. Hopefully faster.
I wish they'd raised the redline, though... give the 1.5 a set of wild cams that come "on boil" at around 5000 rpm and allow engine speeds of around 7000+ rpms. This would give it the high-speed performance such hybrid combos lack (at high speeds, the electric assist on the Prius fades away).
The big question, as always, is price. If they can sell it for under $20k (which would equate to a price of around 1.5m here), it could be a success... but I doubt they will...
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Korek.
Its just similar to the old Insight Coupe back then..
Flop pala ang 2nd gen Insight..![]()
