I'm hoping they upgrade the way the seats fold.

Yun ang biggest problem ko with the current gen Mobilio/BR-V

New BRV looks really good. Since it now looks like an CUV vs MPV, it can go head to head with CUV options like the Territory or Coolray at that price range.

Noone gives a crap about the 170 hp turbo 1.5 of the Coolray anyway. The Honda branding will draw more customers in.

Data shows the sales of both cars are about even.

    BRV - 2,041
    Coolray - 2,158

It’s bells and whistles vs brand equity. And if we’re talking brand equity, then other lousy-engined-but-well-known models far outsell the Coolray - i.e Rush (10k units) and Xpander/Xpander Cross (10k units combined).

The Ford Territory was also mentioned before. Marami na din ako nakikita. I think the people that are buying the BRV needs the extra 2 seats. Otherwise, I doubt they'd go for the BRV route unless they're Honda/Japanese loyalists.

The new BR-V is indeed a looker. I would prefer a bit more power but that's something that the CR-V should offer (will be waiting for the 2022 model).

New Mobilio/BR-V?
