August 5th, 2012 12:48 AM #2very important, check if the transmission fluid is Honda's CVTF, it should be very pale pink in color. if not have it changed at a Honda CASA ASAP to avoid transmission problems (transmission cost 100k for a brand new replacement and 30k for surplus). this is the major problem for jazz/fit and city CVT versions of Honda.

December 8th, 2014 12:45 PM #3sadly after 2 years of usage.. 94k mileage.. after regularly changing CVTF.. tranny shows signs of problems, and now "D" blinks from time to time. estimate 20k for cvt tranny replacement - surplus.

December 8th, 2014 01:27 PM #4CVT are also not designed to be driven hard, heavy foot. Smooth acceleration, keeping rpm below 3k, would help in prolonging your Honda CVT transmission.
