Have you seen this lately on the road? Many of them lurks in the streets especially in the city of Manila (where they are very well tolerated). Perfect example of Filipino ingenuity and creativity. But why the concern?

Picture this scenario . . . you are driving along the road then suddenly a motorized pedicab bumps you from the side, creating a huge dent and scratches. The driver just scratches his head. No money to compensate for the damages. No LTO driver's license. No plate # on his vehicle.

Nakakaasar di po ba?! And believe me, hataw silang sumingit at magpatakbo.

I think below the minimum cc level sila kaya considered padyak mga yan in the law's view. Hence, no need for papers.

Riders are from the padyak demographic din, so not surprising medyo kups sila sa daan...

On a side note.... Hoy, Mr. Padyak Pussyfoot.

Wala sila pakialam sa batas at all. This "innovation" isn't godsend rather an additional "pain" on the road...

Because majority = votes.

You try implementing a rule that's based on common sense and benefits the majority in the long run but requires a little sacrifice on their part? They'd shout, whine and cry about "kayong mayayaman di ninyo alam ang paghihirap namin!" and make stupid rallies that do nothing but cause traffic jams.

One reason is an ordinary Pinoy who never have the chance to go to school and finish at least high school is actually SMARTER than our lawmakers who earned their masters-doctorate degrees from the most "intelligent" universities here and abroad.

Just an example (off-topic), the LTFRB is having a hard time going after those "erring & killer buses" at EDSA. The latest 'suspect' (Jell), was banned for a month, but only 75 buses out of the 250+ units since the others belong to different franchise but the same name/company.

In short, "nagluluto sila (lawmakers) ng mga batas, malasado pa!"

i only see one reason why we have so many nuisance transport vehicles and that is because a significant number of people are lazy of walking.

nuisance vehicles contribute greatly to our pollution and traffic problem.

I actually started a thread like this one, this is really an eyesore plus it's accident prone. they don't follow the rules on the roads coz they don't get slapped with a fine or penalty, only in the Philippines.
