coastal toll fee: class 2 for vehicles as high as a stock delica (1.9M)

club mates of mine was charged class 2 at coastal road. stock height lang naman sila.. the toll teller insisted on them that they'll pay the amount. its not the amout but why they class it to 2 when it should be 1 (1.9-2.1M lang naman ang delica!)

last two weeks ago butz and i passed through the coastal toll and we were shocked to hear that our toll was 36 pesos(class 2) instead of the regular class 1 18 peso toll fee. the teller told us that the van was classed as class 2 because it was high, hahahha isnt it classed because of its weight not the height?
has anyone in the club experienced this?

for those with the almost or higher height than the delicas, do you exprience this or we were singled out kasi visually, we were higher...

The Delica is such a high vehicle... even higher than full-size SUVs like the LC80 (who are just under 1.7M - they can pass through the 1.7M barrier here in the office).

Maybe that's their own definition of a class 2 vehicle.

ewan ko ba, usually class 1 lang kahit noong may delica pa ako--and former delica ko is much higher than stock...

somethings a miss there siguro... seek lang ko ng similar incident..

Ginoyo lang siya ng teller... he should have stood on his rights till the supervisor got there.
