PANAWAGAN KO SA MGA BAGONG SENATOR AT CONGRESSMAN.

Dapat I SOLIDIFY yung law na kung saan pag NAKASAGASA ka sa di dapat tawiran walang sagutin yung driver because to begin with di dapat nandun yung bobong pedestrian. Our government wastes millions of pesos sa mga overpass and underpass yet di naman ginagamit. It's unacceptable na masira
ang buhay ng kawawang driver dahil lang sa katangahan ng iilan.

Nako daming ganyan. Lalo na ung mga footbridge na ginawa nila, ung mga walang pinagaralan na mga tao na yan tawid pa din ng tawid. Tapos pag bubusinahan mo tingin pa sayo then mag-make face tapos kung ano ano sasabihin. Dati may na-encounter ako ganyan din binusinahan ko ng binusinahan. Di marunong mag-basa may tagalog translation naman.

I have this friend nakatama ng Fish cracker vendor sa loob mismo ng Coastal Road Expressway. It does not make sense na pagbayarin sya ng hospital bill etc since to begin with PEDESTRIANS are PROHIBITED INSIDE AN EXPRESSWAY. The point is walang masasagaan kung wala cya dun and besides CYA YUNG DAPAT KASUHAN NG JAYWALKING OR EVEN TRESPASSIng for that matter

Hay, Damn those stupid pedestrian. One more thing yung signage ng MMDA na "WALANG TAWIRAN NAKAMAMATAY" should be changed to "WALANG TAWIRAN NAKAMAMATAY: PAG NASAGASAAN WALANG SAGUTIN ANG NAKASAGASA". Nakakaasar kasi eh.

Nakakainis nga yung mga pedestrians na yan. I agree na stupid nga yang mga ganyang tao, pero we still have to drive defensively. IMO, nobody deserves to die no matter how stupid they are. We need to make it a point that we are not endangering people or even animals when we are driving (even if they are the ones putting themselves in danger). Konting pasensya lang dahil ang buhay ng tao hindi napapalitan. Peace.

Nakasulat nga roon......"Bawal tumawid. Nakamamatay!" (in bright pink boards) Kaso wala rin, no pansin yung mga engot na natawid.

Pero dapat pinapansin din ito ng mga MMDA enforcers eh. Hulihin nila yung mga natawid. Parang walang nakita! At mas abala sila sa mg bibiktimahing motorista.

i so totally agree with your sentiments, nakakainis nga talaga. kadalasan, sila pa ung feeling may karapatan tumawid dahil sinenyasan ka nang dadaan siya.

i dont think the problem is the lack of pedestrian overpasses or the abundance of it, kung kulang, sa kalye, tumatawid, kung sobra, ginagawang pwesto ng mga vendors, either way, its bad for the citizens. IMHO, education is the root and the solution to all our problems. sana bigyang priority ito ng MMDA, also, stiffer penalties to all offenders.

Gawin nilang P10,000 or 6 mos. imprisonment (with no exemptions) ang fine, tignan natin kung may mag jaywalk pa.

Problem is lack of education. If people cannot read or write, they cannot follow any laws/regulations since they cannot read or comprehend them in the first place. Nakakainis, pero ganyan talaga sa mahirap na bansa.

Just let them pass, just be more careful and vigilant. Be safe.

Actually it happened to me several years ago, countless of pedestrians cross the street na path din ng way ko so they blocked yung way. may rally pala nung araw na yun

Dami din dyan sa Paseo de Roxas, the corner just before mag-intersect sa Ayala(coming from Makati Ave intersection)....mga professionals naman sila tingnan, pero sige pa rin silang tawid sa kalsada kahit ang laki-laki ng sign na bawal tumawid. Pinagawan pa sila ng underpass with matching escalator ha!

It would be an interesting social experiment to use a paintball or airsoft gun to punish those unlawful pedestrians. If there is an illegal pedestrian, you can use those high-power sniper airsoft rifles to give a 1-2-3 shot of "OUCHIES" to that person to deter them from doing it again.

O kya naman in addition to the signages eh maglagay ng mga pictures ng mga nasagasaang bobong pedestrians... It's sad to admit that Filipinos really needs a rude awakening for them to realize how stupid they are in putting themselves into danger. tama si Vitec. the same people who obey traffic rules in other countries are the same people who violate them here. I think its more than just the lack of discipline dahil nagagawa naman nila sa ibang bansa e, I think partly, its the lack of respect or nationalism for the country that makes them do these things. so sad.

Nah. It's just that many people are just plain narrow-minded bastards.

We shouldn't need a "WALANG TAWIRAN NAKAMAMATAY" sign in order to use a pedestrian overpass.

We should't need the train operator to scream off the top of his lungs, "paraain lang po muna natin yung lumalabas" on the MRT. I shouldn't need to force my way out while uttering phrases about the ***ual nature of the work of the mothers of a few who are trying to rush into the train.

There shouldn't be any need for "Thou Shall Not Kill" to be etched in stone in order for thou not to kill.

Think about it. A red light (nor the threat of a ticket nor the possible crash) never stopped a vehicle all by itself. But why do queues generally form at red lights?

But then again, mandatory attendance policy and the threat of a failing grade has never kept a student from being absent from class and slacking off.

People just need to stop and think before they act. Common sense and common courtesy go hand in hand (though at present, both fail to live up to the "common" part). You've been given a brain, use it!

I agree dapat kapag nasagasaan sila wlang sagutin yung driver kasi they are violating the law .. dapat sila pa magbayad sa nasira .. dalawa lang naman yan nagtatangatangahan sila or tanga lang talaga sila.. lintik dapat talaga 10 k for those who are violating and kapag hindi sila nakapag bayad ng fine 6 months imprisonment para matuto ang mag lintik .. at dapat tanggalin na din yung mga nagbebenta sa Highway kapag nasagi mo kasalanan pa nila eh ang bibilis ng sasakyan

post ko lang experienced ko about pedestrians. pansin ko lang pag tumatawid sila either on legal pedestrians or not, pag nasa kalagitnaan na sila ng tawiran eh doon pa sila nagbabagal tumawid or maglakad. medyo kainis lang lalo na doon sa tumatawid sa di tamang tawiran, as in super senyas pa sila ang bilis maglakad sa una tapos magbabagal din pala pag nasa harapan na ng sasakyan. :|

tama si mcbrain. palgay ko, nasa nagpapatupad din ng ordinance. bakit sa makati, almost 90% yata eh sumusunod sa tamang tawiran. pwera na lang talaga yung mga gusto mahuli. dapat, mas matatapang ang mga manghuhuli kaysa sa huhulihin.

siguro pag natupad e2 matatakot na yung mga tao na tatawid sa edsa na di gumagamit ng pink overpass at matututo na silang dumaan sa tamang lugar.

kasi e2 yung sabi ng kaibigan ko na taga marikina kaso di daw pinayagan.
