I was driving home from Tondo Medical Center. Was along EDSA Munoz when I heard sirens. So I checked my six. A maroon Pajero with front bumper lamps, blacked out license plates, blacked out windows, clear lens blinkers - it's our favorite medschool dropout-cum-bombero NTV777!

At this point in time impulse wanted to take over and give the idiot chase. But I did not engage in a pursuit for the following reasons:
a. I did not have-back up (unlike the first time when we were a 3-vehicle team and I shotgunned wiretap_md).
b. Engaging in a pursuit in such high density traffic will endanger innocent motorists.
c. Putting a deranged person under the pressure of a pursuit can yield ugly results.
d. I can barely keep my eyes open after being on duty for more than 24 hours.

What I did was pull up into the nearest manned MMDA traffic post to request for an intercept. The traffic guys where cooperative enough. However, the suspect vehicle could not be located by other posts in the vicinity (baka nagpatay na daw ng illegal equipment or pumasok sa side street). So I just said my thanks and drove home.

Ingat na lang tayo mga Tsikoteers. Kapag nagpower-tripping na naman ito at naka-aksidente, mukhang tatakbo lang.
