Share ko lang at hingi sana ng advise.

Nabangga SUV ko sa parking lot.

Captured by Dashcam (Yung parking feature ng 70mai na mag auto activate and recording if may bump/vibration nadedetect).

Walang insurance tong SUV ko so no choice, gastusan nalang yung damage from my own wallet.

But gusto ko sanang i report yung nakabangga.

Plate number and conduction sticker number is clearly captured by dashcam.

Pwede ko bang i report yung auto sa any agencies?

Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng hit at least yung car na nakabangga at the time mag renew na sila.

Report to the admin/owner of the parking lot, and also to the police with jurisdiction over the parking lot.

yup. first is to report to the admin of the parking lot... then to the police

kaso may time ka ba to do all this?

you will need to file a "hit and run" case against the other vehicle.

    I don't have time for a case.

Would reporting it to parking lot admin and then to the police will do the trick w/o the hassle from my part?

I will report it this weekend if this is needed.

You can report it to the police so they can investigate. But rather than leaving a hit on the car's record as your objective, wouldn't it be better to give the owner the chance to explain or make amends?

With this, do I now need to use social media to call out the driver of the car?

I can let them explain naman but not sure if social media is the venue to post the actual video posted.

Baka ma technical ako, lalo na parang may kaya yung nakabangga.

    Mercedes GLB 35 yung nakabangga.

Social media is not the proper venue.

As suggested here, report it to the parking owner/admin and the police. Let the police handle it. As they say, sa presinto ka na magpaliwanag.

based on my experience... car must have 2 accidents in 1 policy para mag-kick-in yung 20% additional insurance premium. pero that's if they use the same insurance.

best case scenario is to file a hit and run. ma-alarm PNP/HPG and nasa record lang nila na may kaso yung car. super hassle pa to get that "alarm" removed

I understand na it will be super hassle for you. kaso drivers like this needs to be taught a lesson.

Someone hits your car and then runs ... so give them a chance because they got caught? ...

As you said before, maybe the driver was in a rush and needed to use the toilet. Maybe in this case, in his rush he did not notice that he hit a car.

There are three sides to a story, the first party's, the second party's and the truth.

In the video, he/she noticed that my car was hit dahil hindi niya na estimate ng maayos.

Hindi niya ma park ng maayos since yun na hit na yung right side ng car ko.

And then he/she maneuvers the car forward to properly position the car to park beside us.

Just going over this again. From the video, is it clear that the car hit yours? Could it be that the dent/damage was already there (prior to 1/28) and the driver was consciously avoiding it?

Was there paint on the other car from your car that can be seen from the video? Did the other car leave any paint on your car? Did the car have any dents where it should have made contact with your car?

Sa PNP/HPG ba to natin i report?

Also, it's an outside parking handled by one of the biggest malls.

I will report it this weekend.

Actually, I initially thought nangyari yung pag bangga last 01/30 basement parking.

I immediately reported to guard to check the CCTV and they will call me lang daw if may report na.

But after reviewing the SD card of my dashcam, dun ko na check isa-isa yung captures under Parking.

Nag activate yung dashcam while naka park auto after nabangga yung right side harap.

It happened 01/28 pa pala, sa 01/30 lang namin napansin since sa gabi lang namin nagamit ulit yung car.

And it happened sa outside parking lot ng mall (yung expose sa araw yung parking lot).

Walang CCTV nakakabit dito, so etong dashcam recorded video ko lang hawak ko against sa kanila.

I may be in the minority here, but I think it's a waste of time and effort to run after the culprit(s) pa.

Have the damage to your car repaired, then move on with your life...

I accept defeat na po kanina, masyadong mainit at no worth it to travel just for this issue.

But if major damage ang result, I would like this thread to be a reference to everyone what steps should we take para mahabol yung nakabangga at parking lot.

Assumption is walang insurance yung car.

My first assumption is to report it to police and admin of parking lot.

But I am not sure if these steps are enough para mahabol mo pa yung nakabangga.

Baka may better ideas pa mga ka tsikot dito, so this thread would be helpful for future reference.

What if damage is headlight in addition to multiple bumper cracks.

Malaking gastos din yun and this might worth it na para habulin yung nakabangga.

Usual kasi lumabas sa mga google searches ko ay sa insurance ipaubaya.

Or nabangga in the middle of the road.

Highly unlikely for a Mercedes Benz to be not insured ... it's possible that the driver of the vehicle is the child of the owner ... so declare to owner that it was a hit and run at parking lot ... to avoid being chastised and banned from ever "borrowing" parent's vehicle ... or even banned from driving by parents ...
