MANILA, Philippines - PBA player Ali Peek was rushed to the Medical City hospital Monday night after he was shot by an unknown assailant at around 7 p.m. in Mandaluyong City, an initial report said.
The incident happened at the RFM gymnasium, just minutes after his workout.
He sustained a gunshot wound in the neck but is now in stable condition.
Peek plays for Talk 'N Text.
