Dapat hindi bawal yung nabili mong clear plastic plate protector, since it "doesn't make letters and numbers unreadable".

After a few months, the plastic on the Deflector-type plate cover has a tendency to get hazy. I've replaced the front Deflector cover on my Sedona twice because of this. Next time I'll just get a license plate frame to avoid any problems with the authorities... yung sa likod di ko pa pinapalit ever since

Bakit naging hazy?

Gamit ko is Aguila tempered glass clear plate cover. Hindi kasing prone to gasgas like some plastic covers.

I also bought the clear glass from Aguila to replace the slightly greenish Asahi glass i got before. The clear glass does not affect the reflectivity of the license plate. As i was talking the aguila rep, he was telling me that the clear glass was selling well in Banawe as the tint installers were using it to make tinted glass plates out of the "retaso" tint that they were throwing away before.
That tinted plate glass craze has got to go. It serves no purpose except to make the license plate numbers harder to see. It isn't even cool. Also, i observed that a lot of the drivers with tinted glass plates are too aggressive in their driving.
