No New Epass Available

I called Capstone Technologies later. This is the company that basically provides the EPASS system and its their number that’s in the tag’s packaging for technical support. Basically I got the same answer from a lady at the other end of the line – top management directive to stop EPASS tag subscription – with a slight difference. I could have filed an application to make sure I had a tag reserved if and when the order to issue new subscription came down, if it even would. I asked how many have done that, and she said there were a lot. I persisted, wanting some information so that I could decide to make the drive to their office in Bicutan: “Hundreds? Thousands?”

update: RFID is now available for FREE at Skyway office Bicutan
just bring with you photocopy of your OR, CR, and valid ID
you'll also need an initial load of at least 500 petot

also heard that they will eventually phase out Epass tag this year, exact date?

remaining balance from your old epass will be transferred within 7 days

Sticker na lang yung RFID. Where is it installed? I like Epass better kasi tumutunog.

ang target nga daw nila is: rfid for everyone who uses slex on a regular basis, para daw mabawasan yun build-up sa mga toll gates

Had one for the coastal tollways. 1st day only akala nang anak ko ordinary tape na magkabit sa headlight at ayun pinilas at dinala sa akin. Sabi may nag trip daw sa kotse at kinabitan nang tape. Hehehe what can you say...[emoji4] na lang

dalawang klase ang RFID sticker
pag sa windshield sa loob siya naka dikit
nakita ko kasi yun UV express ng kabitan ng sticker, pumasok yun nagkakabit sa loob

pag sa headlight sa labas ng headlight
since may tint yun windshield ko, hindi na pinabuksan yun kotse


in case of theft, damage ng sticker, its free naman and I can always ask for a replacement (sana) :D

They should have made an announcement on this (phasing out of tags) I never got an email from them. I am really not happy about this. I like the tag better.
