    Sino sa inyo dumadaan dito?

have you noticed they opened up na yung traffic from MIA Road going to Macapagal/Coastal Rd (pede na left turn or diretso) and also from Macapagal pede na diretso MIA Road.

I just don't know kung sino may pakana nito, MMDA ba or Pque?

Pero whoever it is, sana inisip muna nila. Okay na nga yung dati using u-turn slot, IMO...tsk tsk tsk!

they better think twice kasi major artery ito from the airport.

hindi po testing iyon, kasi if you notice, meron na naka install na traffic lights sa overpass ng coastal mall at vacant lot nung side ng macapagal. just noticed it kanina lang din.

Yes I noticed it too last Saturday. Actually, coming from the airport, I still instinctively turned right and then made a U turn to go to Coastal Mall as I failed to notice that the intersection is now open.

On the other hand, coming from SM MoA, our normal route back was the road beside PriceSmart, but that intersection along Roxas Blvd is now heavily congested because of a U turn slot near that area and the unofficial(?) loading/unloading zone...

So, next time, we will take the now open intersection near Coastal Mall.

I also noticed this when I went home tonight. Although hindi traffic that time maybe because maaga pinauwi ang mga tao.

I think the old scheme was already working well. Why did they have to experiment again. Can someone shed light on this??

so if you're coming from Roxas Blvd going to the airport (NAIA and Terminal 2), much easier way is via Macapagal Ave and upon reaching Uniwide Coastal Mall, turn left. And voila! MIA Road is just straight ahead. This route is much lesser volume compared to turning left in Roxas Blvd. Ang haba kasi ng hihintayin using this old route, as I said, naiipon yung volume kasi they have to add stop & go sequence dun sa newly installed traffic lights.

On the other hand, pain in the *ss naman going the other way from MIA Rd going towards Coastal/Macapagal. Paglampas pa lang ng Tambo intersection dumadami na yung volume, nagiging one lane na lang yung going right which I think is more traffic flow. Kaya ayun, buhul-buhol sa corner while waiting for green. Just as I observed from this end, the green light was only about 15 secs long then red agad, kita mga 3 lines of cars lang naka-go, yung pang-apat lampas pa sa line nung huminto. Unlike before, all traffic flow is going right kaya walang volume, pwera na lang pag mahaba pila ng mga PUB sa corner.

IMO, mukhang permanent na nga ito since installed na yung traffic lights with matching signs and directions. If MMDA may pakana (sa tingin ko nga), akala ko ba they are proud na dun sa U-turn slot scheme nila? Why all of a sudden bigla ibabalik ito? What's the point?
