We had our KAC Banawe SQ Boys get-together last night at Kaffe Caffe, Banawe corner Maria Clara street. The evening was filled with fun and laughter and auditioning fellow KAC'ers SQ cars when a white CLK55 AMG accidentally backed up into Royal's green CR-V, which was parked as you see in Chut See'ah's first post. His spare tire cover was slightly dented and grazed.

Royal approached his car. The driver of the Benz was male, late 30's to early 40's. His friend also got down, also male. Royal spoke to them nicely regarding how they would handle repairs to the damage but the two got very angry when Royal spoke about the hassle he would have to go through to have the damage repaired. When Royal mentioned his Insurance Participation was P2,500, the Benz driver opened his trunk to reveal what appeared to be two M4 rifles. He gave Royal some money and threatened Royal that if he said anything more, he would shoot him.

See the open trunk? Then the Benz driver's male friend also got very irritated with Royal and angrily grabbed Royal's head and rammed it on the passenger's side rear window of his CR-V. The Benz driver again opened his trunk to pull out his rifle when his wife jumped out of the Benz and tried to stop him. Even as Royal had stepped back and was keeping quiet, the Benz driver again angrily threatened to shoot Royal. Sadly, the more the Benz driver's wife tried to pull him back, the more he got agitated. There was another female inside the car who also got down. She was holding a bottle of San Mig Light. It was then clear to all of us that they were drunk.
There were many of us there. Around 20 KAC'ers. Some of us were with Royal when we saw the damage to his spare tire cover. But when we saw that the Benz driver had a rifle, we all backed off.
The Benz driver's wife was apologizing to all of us profusely. She managed to calm her husband down long enough for all of them to get back in their car and leave. But all the while, the Benz driver was shouting threats left and right.
Chut See'ah (Bong) had already dialled 117 and asked for the Police to come and help. They arrived shortly after the Benz left.
The Police immediately sent a radio alert stating the make, model, color and plate number of the white Benz. Then they accompanied Royal and some of us to the La Loma Police Station to file a blotter.
We called Royal's wife. She arrived a few minutes later. They went to the hospital to file a Medico-legal report. Royal suffered minor head and neck injuries from when the Benz driver's friend rammed Royals head on to the CR-V window glass.
Guys, beware. The plate number of the white Benz CLK55 AMG is BDY-303. There is a Police Alert out for this car.

Sadly, we were not able to take photos of the Benz driver and his companions, but we hope this incident does not happen again - to anyone.

Siguro kung ako man makakakita ng taong tinutukan ng rifle at makakakita pa na hinampas ang ulo ng driver sa kanyang sasakyan. Hindi ko na magagawang makuhaan pa iyon. Baka ako pa ang mabaril.

Siguro kung ako man makakakita ng taong tinutukan ng rifle at makakakita pa na hinampas ang ulo ng driver sa kanyang sasakyan. Hindi ko na magagawang makuhaan pa iyon. Baka ako pa ang mabaril.

I agree. Baka sa yo pa ibunton ang galit pag nakita kang kumukuha ng video. Sadly, there have been several incidents posted in other sites where a friend/companion/good samaritan tried helping a victim in cases like these tapos sila pa madedemanda o makakatanggap ng death threats tapos yung tinulungan nila dedma na. Mahirap tumulong pag ganyan, EB lang pala. Ni hindi kayo ganun ka-close... Ako siguro tutulong ako pag kaibigan ko talaga or close family member ang naagrabyado.

Hindi naman yata tinutok yung mga M4, pinakita lang kaya light threats lang ang kaso and the penalty is just a slap on the wrist. Yung physical injuries, pag wala ding sugat parang slight physical injury lang... not so sure though.

i just hope the offended party will not agree to settlement. the a**holes (the benz driver and friends) deserve more than !

Kung matukoy man ang mga ogag, sigurado hindi aamin at kung walang proof na mapresent aside from he said, she said ng mga pagbibintang ay mahirap kasuhan yan. Kung may connections pa yun driver ng benz cigurado talo rin ang victim. Kung may pictures at video sana, pwede pa ma tv ang mga yun at mas madali manalo sa kaso ang victim.

As usual huli na naman ang mga police, like in the movies. Some will say sana pinigilan umalis or hinarangan sana ng isang car para di makaalis yun Benz but prudence is the better part of valor here. Kaka bad trip talaga yan mga ganyan considering you guys are having fun. clear fun tapos magkakarun ng ganitong incident.

Sir sabi nga maraming witnesses, puwede sila tumestigo para madala sa hustisya yan. Di po nila minamaliit mga ganyang kaso po; mainit ang pulis sa gun related violence with the upcoming elections and getting this big rich cat in the bag helps their image in the wake of recent failures like the Ivler-Ebarle case.

Si Ivler na-identify kasi naplakahan yung CRV niya. Basta pursigido sila na i-pursue yung kaso mananaig din sila. I know I would.
