I dunno if you guys notice. But I have notice this for quite some time now. From my work in Makati going back home in QC I normally pass through Araneta Ave. in QC. Everyday I always see armored vehicles (I think bank vehicles) who always run pass an intersection even if its red light. Wala lang I guess its not a big deal, but what gives them the right to do that? Ay isa pa pala, this is not a one time thing I always see them do this everyday and all of them do this not just one of them....

According to authorities, Armored Vehicles are NOT emergency vehicles, and don't enjoy immunity frm traffic laws like ambulances do. If you see them breaking the law, feel free to report them. You can even report them to the bank itself... one guy here did that before... followed an armored car that had sideswiped him to the bank and complained to the manager. The driver got a dressing down for that one.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Good to know that. Nawalan na sila ng escorts, ng wang wang, now dapat behave sila with respect to traffic laws.

BTW, nagbabayad din kaya sila ng toll sa express way?

After the demolition of the squatters in the area, E. rod cor. Araneta ave became an Armortech vans depot. Dunno who owns it but mahirap na i-question. I passed there almost daily at madalas nilang gawin yan after office hours, yung pagarahe na sila, ginagawang maneuver site ang gitna ng intersection at walang magawa ang mga enforcers doon.

Even after galing sila sa Petron (on the opposite corner), sa intersection pa sila nagka-counter flow watch mode lang ang enforcers assigned.

Armored bank vehicles think that since they carry guns and money automatically dapat pagbigyan sila na akala mo super paranoid na ho-holdapin sila on the spot. Last year lang I saw a vehicle got hit on the side sa kalsada lampas lang sa q.ave underpass. Yan yung bank lampas lang ng mcdo. The owner of the hit car immediately followed the convoy na 3 armored vehicles sabay pag confront niya sa kanila bigla lang siya tinutukan ng armalite ng mga security at umasta na akala mo political figure ang binabantayan nila.

armored cars/trucks leased/rented by banks are from security agencies.. and usually security agencies are owned by ex-military /police generals/officers.

kaya mejo maangas din tong mga sekyu.. malalakas din kasi mga backer nila. wala na talagang laban mga traffic enforcers natin.
