    Hello Tsikoteers:

I think it will be nice if ma-implement ang traffic rules ng Subic sa The Fort, while the community is still young and starting. I guess bringing/implementing the traffic rules, such as those implemented in Subic, in a community within Metro Manila will influence other neighboring districts such as Makati, etc..... eventually matuturuan ang mga drivers especially dito sa MM.

    saan ba puedeng i-suggest 'to?

I work in The Fort area.

While traffic enforcement in this area is still light years away from that of Subic, I can confidently say that the enforcement here is wayyyy better than the other parts of metro manila.

Dito, you can actually see cops flag down motorcyclists who don't wear helmets.
You can also see cops apprehending motorists for beating red lights, etc.

Unfortunately, I have yet to see them apprehend any of the Fort Ikot Busses.

better yet, why not implement the traffic rules in whole of metro manila or philippines? i'm sure the traffic situation will improve. also, educate the drivers and most of all, pedestrians. pansinin nyo lang, kung hindi PUV driver ang nakakatrapik, e yung mga pedestrian ang cause. also, stricter policy para sa pagkuha ng drivers' license. minsan kasi wala naman talagang alam sa pagda-drive e nakaka-kuha ng lisensya.

i'm up for this but I seriously doubt this could be implemented on a wider scale.. starting small like in the Fort would be a good choice. if it can done, then it could be adapted into surrounding cities (which I think would give Metro Manila Mayors something more to bicker about)

well, we can always start the ball rolling. we don't have to wait for the govt to do it for us. we can start by following all traffic rules and regulations, even if others will not... and even if there's no one watching us. kasi even if there's authorities who will strictly enforce all those traffic rules, pero every chance we get, we break it naman eh wala din mangyayari. change has to start from within. in the words of JFK, 'look not what your country can do for you, but look what you can do for your country'. remember, all big things starts from small steps, so let's all take those small steps now. let's not fret about the faults of others lest we ourselves are faultless first. Let's fix our own faults first before we aim to fix other's faults.

Implement traffic rules of Subic at The Fort
