Car thieves strike in QC (Congressional na naman!!!)

CRIMINALS observe no break, not even on Holy Week.

A 59-year-old businesswoman realized this after she lost her car to two unidentified armed men in Quezon City Thursday afternoon.

Victim Serafina Azarga, of Tandang Sora, Quezon City, said the two carjackers stole her Honda CRV at gunpoint.

Azarga told investigators from the Quezon City Police District that she was withdrawing cash from a Banco de Oro automated teller machine in Congressional Avenue at about 1 p.m. Thursday when the suspects struck.

After taking the car keys, the cash she withdrew and her jewelry, the suspects sped away to unknown direction.

Police is now conducting follow-up operation to track down the suspects and recover the victim's vehicle.

The National Capital Region Police Office under Director Vidal Querol earlier ordered his men to safeguard the security of Metro Manila residents during the long holidays.

grabe along congressional pa naman ako minsan nagwiwithraw sa atm. ung mga guards kasi ng mga bangko sa loob lang ng banks naglalagi and indi na sila nagiikot sa labas/harap ng bank. dapat nakapost din sila sa labas ... gusto nila sa loob palibhasa indi sila kita at nakakahigahiga sila dun.

it's not surprising that security guards are by-and-large lackadaisical. security guards (with the rare exception of that guy who blew away 4 or 5 bank robbers) are only for show, they are not expected to shoot it out with robbers of any sort.

if you were a security guard, would you risk your life by aggressively accosting armed men with the lousy salary you are being paid? and wala pa yatang life insurance yan.

kulang na kulang sila sa tao.nag titipid sila sa pa sweldo di naman nila naisip kung gaano kalaki mawawala sa kanila kung sakali,

Exactly! Kelan kayo nakakita ng mga sikyu sa labas ng bank kapag gabi na o holidays? Andun sa loob ng bank at walang pakialam kasehodang kung ano man ang mangyari sa mga kliyente na nagwiwithdraw walang silbi..tsk..tsk..

Whether the criminals be Christians, Muslims, Hindu, Buddhist, etc...They (the criminals) do as they please now and will later on manage to find a proper justification for their actions (even from their own scriptures).
