November 16th, 2007 04:10 AM #21Talaga bang galit ka sa mga promdi? You tell them to use their cars during the day and park it at night? Thats one of the most stupid things I ever heard from someone. Don't you think people need their cars more at night? Because it is very risky to commute in Manila at night, as if i have to state the obvious.
Car manufacturers not only put HID in the Philippines as standard. You can practically see HID's standard on a certain car model for global consumption. An example would be the current Mercedes Benz S-class. So how can you put something on a car that would pose hazard to the general public? I'm sure that if it were a hazard, cars in the U.S won't have them as we all know how strict the US DOT is or the German TUV for that matter.
Inggit? to tell you frankly, I'm no HID user. But I admire the HID technology even if I don't have it on my car. At least I can appreciate something that I don't have and NOT sourgrape.
