    IS the Land Transportation Office in cahoots with carjackers?

    The head of the LTO Sta. Mesa branch is now in big trouble after the car owned by commercial model Iya Villania was registered under another name a day after it was stolen.

    Assistant Secretary and LTO chief Anneli Lontoc said she had ordered Monseratt Alcira to explain how the Nissan Patrol of Villania was transferred to one Emmanuel Guerrero, of Teacher's Village, Quezon City.

    Villania's car was stolen at the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City last November 6.

    But LTO records showed that on November 7, the car's chassis and engine numbers have been tampered with.

    "Tututukan naming mabuti ito. Biruin mo, lingo na-karnap ang sasakyan, Lunes naka-rehistro na sa ibang tao at agad may TMG clearance siya at absolute deed of sale," she said.

    Lontoc vowed to punish those behind the anomaly

    tsk tsk tsk!pati LTO pala kasabwat na!may maganda pa bang mangyayari sa Pinas?kaya pala hndi nila mabigyan ng solutio ang carnapping at carjacking eh!dati one of my dreams na mkabili ng oto pero sa mga nangyayari ngaun parang pinagsisihan ko na!wla na kaseng safe na place e,mitsa pa ng buhay mo ung oto mo!!

    at kung gov't employee/official, ang venue ng firing squad dapat sa harap ng office nila para di na tularan!

    now if the government were as efficient in their duties as these car thieves.... imagine, stealing a car on a weekend and then registered to a new name on monday... the possibilities could be endless!!!

    IMHO madaling mailulusot ng LTO yan especially sure ko na may TMG clearance yan. maliban na lang kung pineke nila ung clearance. Ngayon kung may TMG clearance na orig yan, walang kasalanan LTO kaya lang masyadong expedited ung processing ng papers. Sa TMG bagsak ng sisi.

    galing tlga ng Pilipinas,is there any more Gov't agency na wlang anomaly at malinis ang record,the thing is kung hindi ba kilalang tao c Iya e pag-aaksayahan ba nila ng panahon yan!PNP Pogi points lng yan!

    Hindi naman maglalakas loob ang mga carnappers na magcarjack ng sasakyan kung mahirapan silang baguhin ang rehistro. Kaya siguradong may kasabwat sa loob ng LTO ang mga iyan.

    baka may fixer para ayusin yun chassis at engine # ng sasakyan. Narinig ko sa radio kung kumpleto ang documents ng sasakyan madali marerehistro ito sa lto. Siguro hindi na nila dinodouble check yun mga sasakyan na nirerehistro nila basta tanggap ng tanggap ng pera

    Ang kotse namin before ay may kapareho plate no. Nalaman lang namin ng mag start computerization ng LTO. Siguro carnap ung kapareho naming plate, kasi ung plate namin galing sa dealer kasi brand new namin sya nabili.
    Dami talaga kalokohan dyan sa LTO.

    di ba kayo na hold or na impound temporary ang ride nyo kasi questionable ang plate number nyo na may kapareho ..at ano nagyari doon sa sa vehicle na kapareho ninyo na Plate Number ?
