I hope this is the right thread section for this topic.

    To All Riders,

Please stop overtaking cars during turns, specially on right turns. Ayaw namin maipit or sumabit kayo. You can overtake naman after the turn or sa bandang likod muna while lumiliko.

If you agree with me and have rider friends and groups, paki-share na lang. This is for the safety ng lahat ng motorists.

If you disagree with what I said, you are entitled to your own opinion. Safety habol ko dito hindi debate.

    Thanks po.

Saw this TopGear article ewan if this is written with sarcasm or not.

For me they should queue whenever there's a queue.

No one forced them to ride a motorcycle, its their choice. Prior to riding it alam na nila lahat ng factor na dadanasin nila.

    Respeto lang to every motorist.

    Share the road.

I'm also a biker, and this is exactly the reason kung bakit naka RFID motor ko. In my own little way nakaka lessen ng negative impression from cage drivers. 1 bike is considered as 1 car.

isa yan sa pet peeves ko. yung paliko ka tapos sila mag ka-cut or mag o-overtake sa likuan, whether from a full stop and turn or rolling and from either side.

I'm a rider too, kadalasan naiinis ako sa mga kasabay ko'ng nakamotor din. Alot of them don't appear to know what their doing, like and tingin nila sa lane splitting is the same as filtering, facepalm ka nalang eh. marami pang iba.

I'm a motorcycle rider and a driver of a cage as well. I prefer riding the motorcycle especially if I'm just alone. Been riding motorized two wheels since I got my driving license.

First, let me apologize for the unruly and undisciplined riders. Kahit ako naiinis sa kanila sa kalsada. I always try to follow road rules and be courteous to other road users. Singit dito singit doon. Meron parang nasa race track kala mo maubusan ng kalsada.meron Meron todo counterflow. Tapos mga ilaw di standard. Meron ba naman break light puti tapos headlight asul. Pinaka ayoko yung bomba ng bomba ng selinyador. Especially small bikes who want to feel na mga supervise riders sila. Ang iingay mga ksp. Nakakabulabog lalo na pag nasa bahay ka.

I can't blame you for hating them. Minsan yung mga naaaksidente na pinapakita sa TV, they were asking for it. Minsan kasalanan nila talaga. That's Darwin's survival of the fittest.

I always try to learn and share the road. Especially with pedestrians and bike riders.

What I fear is because of the entry of China motorcycles, sobrang dali na kumuha ng motor. Kahit mga di marunong sa kalsada, pwede mag ka motor for a small amount of money. I fear in 5 years time para na tayong Vietnam or Indonesia.

One more thing, after the proliferation of irresponsible motorcycle riders, meron pang Isang dapat bantayan ; mga gumagamit ng electric motorcycle. No need ng lisensya pero poses as a hazard to other road users.

You don't need to be the apologist for these bastards.

I'm a rider too. I love the freedom that goes along with it, the adrenaline rush, and the arms - ripping acceleration. You're always in the zone, in the present moment, riding a speeding motor bike.

Stupidity is not a vice exclusive only to riders, because I realize that there are as many bastards in cages when I'm riding as there are equally a good number of bastard riders when I'm driving. Stupidity cuts both ways.

Sadik, I always wonder why turned down that offer to be a moderator in the motorcycle forum that we both joined. You could have made a great difference there, because, I reckon, there are so many bastard members in that forum.

This happened last week along Shaw Blvd. Pansin nyo yung guard sa right side signaling the fast approaching motorcycle to slow down...

But the rider was having none of it... ayan tuloy, semplang.

    Puwedeng gawing screen saver...

Those are not motorcycle sir. Those are electric bicycle.
Itinuturing nilang motor vehicle, which is not.

it has to be a gas-powered engine with minimum displacement of xxx cc, to legally be a "motor vehicle" and subject to licensing, etc.
but it does not detract from the observation that some of their riders are "irresponsible", just like the bicycle and the tricycle (di-motor o di-beachwalk) we see along national roads, in the fast lane pa man din!
i think it is time for government to rein these in by updating road laws and proper enforcement.

Agree with you. Enforcement lang naman ang kailangan. Motorized yan (whether electric or fuel power) , may drivers license pa rin dapat sa ganyan.

Sir please read the whole post.

I didn't refer the photo as regular fuel fed motorcycles but as electric motorcycles. If you want to be specific and technical about it, the one posted above can not be an electric bicycle. To be classified as an electric bicycle, properly know as pedelec, it should have working pedals.

Anyway back to topic. I was just warning everyone that aside from irresponsible motorcycle riders, we should be wary also of the electric motorcycles becoming popular. I've seen these used even by those below 18 who doesn't know any road rules lest obtain a proper license.

Technically they are not under the LTO. And no licensing nor registration is required. These are no different than those "kuliglig" plying manila roads especially in divisoria / binondo area with a Frankenstein motor.

Simply in the form galing sa electric chair, use the electric motor in the frame of a bicycle wheel.
