EDSA- Ortigas intersection

pls confirm if true,

at EDSA ortigas intersection (southbound towards makati)

vicinity: near Porsche, SEC

private vehicles going south should take the flyover. if you choose to go street level,
1.)ALL private vehicles are to make a u -turn heading back towards santolan/cubao/monumento.....
2.)only buses are allowed to cross that intersection


coz i got apprehended last night.. anyone had similar incident? tnx in advance

Are there signs?

I know it's allowed to cross but not to turn left. Maybe, it's a new ordinance.

it's absurd ... what if you intend to go just beside the flyover, your going to miss it by flyover.

thats correct, i believe this is a new ordinance. if u observe the area is sort of undergoing a big makeover

if may susunduin ka sa poea, i think they would ask u to make a uturn sa ortigas

im not so sure about the sign but there are overhead signboards in that area, im just not so sure though what they're for (because if u think about it, it really would seem weird why private vehicles cannot make a crossing)

I think they are trying to decongest the said area (since that is one traffic hotspot along EDSA).

Will look at the signs posted there tomorrow to confirm.

you can also turn right to greenhills kasi dumadaan ako dyan to turn right to gh

if u are turning right to gh, which lane should u use? since the rightmost lane is almost impossible because the stupid buses block/use/park that whole lane. but if ur on the 2nd lane, u might get apprehended naman for swerving.

and to answer my original question, are u allowed to cross that intersection to go southbound edsa?
