Death Wish?

Yesterday afternoon I was caught up in heavy traffic along Vargas Ave. going to SM. I decided to just turn around and go home. Luckily, there was a turn slot right in front of a driving range and i decided to take it. As i was turning left to take the U turn, i saw several motorcycles and a car going down the road on my right. I hesitated at first but decided to go on slowly kase malayo pa naman sila. Sinagad ko talaga yung liko ko to give them a leeway kung sakaling hindi mag slowdown. As I complete the turn, biglang sumulpot yung isang motorcycle sa right side ko with horn blazing. Hindi ko na lang pinansin kasi obviously, pissed off yung driver. Eto na po, biglang umovertake and sabay tingin sa plate ko, in the process cutting me off. Three times he did it, and each time preno ako to avoid hitting him. Again i kept my cool. Upon reaching the corner of Vargas and C5, nakita ko yung motor on the left side, i took the right side to avoid him and also, i was turning right anyway. Kaso biglang nag right yung motor, bilis, until tumapat sa door ko. preno sya sabay sigaw, "O, ano?" Again hindi ko pinansin, iwas na lang. Then out of the blue, biglang umovertake na naman, then cut me off. Whew! Iwas na lang ako and just shook my head in disbelief. I can't understand his actuations. To think may passenger sya, babae pa! Title ko Death Wish kase i could have hit him in the four times he intentionally cut me off kung hindi ako nag preno. Isa pa, di nya alam we were three guys in my tinted van, me, my cousin, and my visiting fraternity brother. In other words, we could have ganged up on him kung pinatulan ko. . Tsk Tsk tsk...people are indeed willing to risk their lives for such flimsy reasons...ingat na lang...

baka naman yung sabi mo na mag-u-turn ka at malayo pa siya e hindi malayo? mas mahaba ang safe braking distance ng motorbikes so siguro na-cut mo siya nung nag-u-turn ka. right of way kasi siya kaya nagalit.

3 nga kayo sa van e malay mo kargado yun. ano magagawa ng karate mo kung may baril siya?

Kahit may baril pa yan. Feeling naman nya e tangke ang sasakyan nya para mang-cut ng van.

if you read me right sabi ko i proceeded slowly and gave them a leeway to pass in case maalanganin. Isa pa, mga three or four motorcycles yun and a car going my way pero walang sudden braking na nangyari so ibig sabihin, tama lang yung distance nila for me to pass. Ayaw lang talaga cguro maistorbo. Sabihin mo nang mali ako pero to cut me off four times intentionally is indeed something to think about. Isa pa, what made you think karate gagamitin ko if ever? What I used is better judgement in just letting it go despite the fact that we have superior force at the time. I seek God's guidance everyday i drive. I make mistakes, yes pero because of God's intervention, nakakaiwas ako sa gulo. Peace bro!

mahirap talaga makita ang mga motorsiklo lalo na pag liliko ka. tama yung ginawa mo bro pinagpasensyahan mo na lang. yung isang pag-cut nya sa iyo dapat tama na yun pero yung pangalawa at sumunod pang cut..... kung ako siguro baka di ko na kinaya hehehehehe

Sir Innoko sobrang pasensyoso mo naman tatlo pa kayo sa loob ng van. Kung ibang motorista lang yan baka binangga na yung motor or binugbug na yung kolokoy na yun.

Ako talaga nabubuwisit sa mga irresponsible motorcycle driver nandyang gitgitin ka, biglang sulpot sa harapan mo, mga walang ilaw. Anyayabang mga hinayupak na yan yung iba nga wala pang lisensya.

i have to say, bumilib ako sa yo. matagal ko nang gustong gawin yung highlighted part ng message mo sa taas pero mahirap talaga. dami ko nang sinubukan -- mag-rosaryo, mag-dasal, mag-"peace be with you" -- pero minsan talaga ang kukulit ng mga nag-mo-motorsiklo.
