    Why in the world do almost all movie theatres show horror trailers in GP films?

    When we watched Madagascar, Shaggy Dog, Ice Age 2 all of them showed really horrific, R18 type of horror trailers. All the kids just shuts up and some are crying when they are showing the trailers.

    May utak ba mga to?

    Kanino ba pwedeng ireklamo mga ganyan?

    Imagine how the kids were reacting when we were waiting for Ice Age yesterday and they started showing Pamahiin, Silent Hill, etc on a friggin large screen with full surround audio...

    Kakabadtrip sa magulang... Daming bata nagtatakipan ng mata, umiiyak bago mag umpisa yung sine na gusto nila...

    Yup, kami kasi di namin alam kung how much ng start ang namiss namin (turns out mga 5-10mins lang) so we opted to wait for the start again... Grabe pa dami ng trailers these days (I think since the theatres are getting nicer, they want more time for cleaning before each show)... I think the trailers lasted over 20minutes...

    Kakainis tipong they'll show a trailer of CARS, tuwang tuwa mga bata, right after that trailer ng Da Vinci (daming gruesome clips nung killer dun diba), then sisingit nila yung Penguin cartoon, tapos Silent Hill... Kaasar.

    Anak ko di nagreklamo (2 palang eh), yung cousin nya na 7 takot na takot...

    Pero these trailers are being reviewed by the MTRCB before they are approved for showing. Maybe they have a ruling na PG-13 and R-18 trailers should only be shown in between films with the same rating, pero hindi sinusunod ng mga movie houses.

    ah yeah, i know that theveed, kaya pag nanonood kami ng baby girl ko ng movie, gusto nya lagi to go out muna pag break na, dahil takot sya sa ibang mga movie trailers. Nadala one time, nanood kami sa SM Bacoor, tapos ang tindi ng horror movie na pinakita. It was around 3 years already, and til now, ganun pa din sya, whenever break ng film, sabihin nya labas muna.

    So logical to put these trailers in a movie where most audiences are under 12 years old..

    don't tell me they'll show a clip for hostel in a kiddie film?!

    hostel really freaked me out. the 2nd half anyway. the 1st half had nice bewbies. :lol:
