i don't personally know anyone from lucerne, but i'm a member of a couple of local watch forums, the members of which have many contacts. perhaps you could narrate the gist of your complaint? i'm sure the other tsikoteers are curious to know why you're so mad.
I'm not sure if this is helpful. But there was a certain "Ian" who personally apologized to me when I wrote directly to one of their suppliers (in Switzerland).
As restitution, their supplier/Lucerne gave me about P15k worth of accessories + free services.
Can post the URLs of the local forums? Tks...
If you go on a weekday he will probably be dropping by Chronos. I don't know him personally, sorry.
I hope you resolve it and let us know how it went. I bought a few watches there and have had them serviced, ok naman.
I bought a watch last FEB 19,2007. They promised it will arrive in a month. Its now May 12 and i have asked for a full refund. The chronos megamall branch to be exact told me that they will refund me the money less 10k + pesos because thats the commision of Citibank Visa. (Card i used to buy the watch). Kung hindi ba naman sila oGAG, Tan*^&*, mother fu^%$&!!!!!! They asked that i talk to Citibank VISA and claim the amount. Talk about ZERO CUSTOMER CARE.
This website is useless! http://www.lucernejewelers.com/main.php
What local watch forums?? Can you post URL's?..i sent an email to info*lucernejewelers.com and no reply until now.
chronos....
wifey bought her omega, in less than a year, battery conked out, and had it replaced at sm city (another omega dealer)...
my 1500 series tag bought from saudi, purchased 1985.. 1996 ko lang ni-replace ng battery.
frt, too bad sir. sana they should have refunded you the whole amount cause you did not get the product as promised.
Also had same experience with my wife's Omega, palit ng battery every year (2 years the longest). But I don,t have any battery problem with my Omega Constellation, 4 years & still going. Although napansin ko lang pag di ko sinuot ng 1-2months straight parang na-late ng a few minutes.
I'm sorry to hear about this. I didn't know you need to make a deposit to order. There was a time I had to wait for almost a year to get the model I ordered.
Credit cards policies can really complicate things. Baka puede pa antayin. It's really hard when they have your cash na.
I got several pieces from them. I keep in touch with their suppliers too, just to make sure they won't BS me.
Just get a chargeback from your CC company. They should have offered you to refund you the entire amount, but, hey, they don't always have the best customer service in this country.
Either way, it's nothing to get too worked up about. Take a deep breath, and remember that you're in good health, you can afford a nice watch, and this should all be worked out in a week or two.![]()
I feel you are entitled to a full refund as they failed to deliver your watch in the promised time. However it's a mistake to exhaust your energy talking to sales people. Write a formal demand for a full refund and send it via registered mail with return card.
Companies like this do this to their customers because too often the customers involved do nothing about their complaints. It's your choice to be a victim or to demand full restitution. They are not entitled to deduct a penny from you regardless of their expenses. Your position is that you paid for a product and it was not delivered in the time promised. You are entitled to a full refund.
