We were cruising along Ayala Blvd approaching the intersection of Ayala Blvd and C.M. Recto at around 6:45PM tonight when all of a sudden this idiot who was driving a black Altis (XMP-165) wanted to suddenly cut into our lane without warning. Our driver was simply following the car in front of him when all of a sudden this idiot opened his passenger window and started hitting our car's window and started shouting out to our driver for not letting him thru, e ni hindi nga nakipaggitgitan yung driver namin, so pinabayaan na lang namin and just proceeded to cross the intersection towards Legarda Ave. on our way to Sta Mesa, at ayun... humabol nanaman ang magaling at pinaghahampas nanaman yung front passenger window namin at pinagmumura nanaman yung driver namin na wala namang ginawa sa kanya in the first place, di na namin pinatulan kasi wala namang kwenta pumatol sa mga asal hayop na katulad nya.

I agree with what the TS did, just let this uneducated motorist do his thing, he's lucky that he did not meet Ivler on the road, if not he will longer be around to enjoy his Christmas.

I would advise against giving false reports to police officers. Not only is this irresponsible, but think of the consequences: nabawasan ng manpower ang pulis, in case they're needed in a real emergency.

Well, you can always brand it as "Attempted Assault - possibly with a deadly weapon". Tingnan ko lang kung hindi mamula ang itlog ng mga arrogant car drivers na nagdadala ng baril sa loob ng kotse. haha.

Again, most arrogant drivers are carrying guns inside their vehicles -- most likely, "illegally carrying firearms outside the house". That's what makes them arrogant on the road. Pag wala silang dalang baril, tahimik sila dahil alam nila na pag naghamon sila sa kalye, baka yung hinamon nila ang may dala ng kalibre kwarentay-singko, at siya walang dala.

Remember: Arrogant drivers are usually armed. Immediately report their plate numbers to the police, describe the vehicle, and where he is driving so the cops can go look for him. If you will not complain, then you are just encouraging them to continue their arrogance that might eventually lead to "road rage".

Remember: Arrogant Private Car Drivers Are Usually ARMED

Broadcast journalist Cheryl Cosim on Tuesday filed a case against a driver who allegedly threatened her and her family with a gun during a minor traffic altercation in Quezon City Monday.

According to Cosim, an ABS-CBN news anchor, she and her family were driving along Congressional Avenue in Quezon City when a Nissan Cefiro with plate number XPY 497 drove side by side with their vehicle.

Upon reaching the intersection of Congressional and Visayas Avenues, the Nissan Cefiro suddenly blocked their way and the driver went down the said vehicle.

Cosim who is also an anchor at dzMM radio then said the driver pointed a .45 caliber gun toward them. She said they did not know who the man was, and why he suddenly pointed a gun towards them.

They were able to identify the plate number of the vehicle however, which turned out to be owned by a certain Richard Castro Ordoņez.

    -------------------------------------------------

    What You Should Do:

Kapag naka-encounter ka ng aroganteng driver na hinahabol at ginigitgit ka pa kahit ikaw na ang lumalayo, it's almost always certain that the guy has a GUN inside the vehicle.

CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY (DIAL 117) AND REPORT THE PLATE NUMBER. TELL THE POLICE THE DRIVER THREATENED YOU WITH A GUN.

Don't mind about wasting the time of the police. So many elected officials in Congress have been wasting time all year, why should you be bothered by your conscience as a TAXPAYER by reporting an issue with the police about a potential road rage? Remember: Arrogance in the road is usually fueled by a gun inside the vehicle.

If you tell the cops that you were threatened with a gun, the police will be forced to search the vehicle. If no gun is found, you can always make an excuse. But most likely, they will find a gun and the a-hole will be charged with illegal possession of firearms.

    Bro;

May I ask? why are you so annoyed with someone with Guns? Okey...supposed that guy is carrying a gun but has a permit to carry license then still he can get away with it...

I can tell you...Not all who are carrying a gun is an a$$hole, even the ones that are not carrying any firearms but under alcohol and drugs are more a$$hole...or maybe this is just another type of modus operandi to provoke the driver to stop and make a confrontation which will be a way to do car jack...

The only thing to do is be patient and ignore, as long as you are not physically harmed...

    Safe Drive
