Last night while after fetching my wife at Shangrila mall we'd go to quezon city for an errand and exited the edsa route going north from crossing.. saw 3 kids around 10 to 15 years old roaming around traffic.. this is still at the top portion of crossing yung pag exit lang ng shang before megamall...
infront of me was a taxi with no passenger, a kid barely 10yrs old opened the rear right side door wide open while the traffic was moving slow, a 15 yr old boy sneak on the left side beside the driver, and the 3rd kid was a lookout on the left rear side of the vehicle... I thought passenger sasakay sila pero was amazed what happened and effective.. take note this is still moving at 10kph..
the kid on the right opened the door wide leaving it that way so tendency the driver would reach it to close it so he have ro reach at the back pa while doing this the older kid open the driver side and took the guys earning and some stuffs on the left side pocket and center console quickly...
the driver wasnt able to react quickly coz hes pinned at reaching the rear door on his right side, then the older guy left the door opened...
it all happened in 15-20secmaybe less was quite shocked really... then the kids run off weaving the traffic the two kids walk casually to shangrila mixing with the crowd.. eh madlim pa naman portion dito between mega and shang dami pa tao this was 9:30pm friday night
Guys make sure lock ang doors niyo and dont put anything important on the left side pocket..

May 24th, 2008 01:04 PM #2Wow that's new. I keep my cellphone at the slot near the power window buttons but I always make sure to lock all the doors as soon as I get inside my car.
It's sad how these children have turned into young criminals. I pity the taxi driver who worked so hard the whole day just to have his earnings stolen by these children.

better be safe than sorry.

May 24th, 2008 05:20 PM #6Ah yes I do see a lot of these young kids yet become criminals. Dito naman sa may Araneta Ave cor. Quezon Avenue meron isang pickup truck na may dalang mga buko. The driver didn't realize but the kids are already stealing some of the buko and when the driver realize it was too late they were already running fast towards Quezon Avenue. Lesson never put stuff in the back of the pickup without a Campershell or something similar and make sure its locked....
