Beggar trying to fool students

I was walking along Taft Avenue this morning, across the street from DLSU, when I saw this old lola. I thought she was going to cross the street so I was ready to help her. She talked to me and told me that her companion had left her, and that she hasn't gotten home to Laguna for 11 days because she had no money for commuting. She looked too neat for someone abandoned for that long. Then a guy student passed by and said "Nagbigay ko na 'yan!" and signalled me not to give to the woman. Naloko na din daw siya, binigyan niya ng P50. Madami na daw nahingian 'yun. I later told the security guard. Dati pa daw 'yun, bumalik na naman sa area. kawawa naman ung mga legit na nangangailangan. ngayon mag-aalinlangan ka pa tumulong. . .
