Ford Expedition, Hari ng Daan? [PICS]

Another one of those "I'm-a-rich-guy-get-out-of-my-way-bastards". This time driving a first generation Ford Expedition wearing dealer plates and no conduction stickers. Spotted along Elliptical Road in Quezon City. Sirens, strobes, wreckless driving...you name it, he's got it.

I asked my brother to snap some shots but when he opened the Cruiser's window, the lights and sounds show suddenly stopped. Probably got the idea that he was being lensed.


So my lensman settles back into his seat and lo and behold, the show starts again. Brother takes the shots via the LC's right side-view mirror as we are turning right into Commonwealth Ave. Bingo!


Here's another shot although of significantly less quality than the other one.


I pull over to the side of the road (was gonna get the cop's attention). Guess what? He stops dead in the middle of Commonwealth Ave.! Hehehehe. Realizing that the cop was too far and too busy to aid me, I returned to the road driving at a snail's pace hoping that the Expediton would pass me. He still would not move from being parked in the middle of a highway. So I drive. I can see him driving off slowly, too.

I pull into the 2nd innermost lane and he zooms right past me. Only to realize that his lane was jammed (that's the reason why I moved out of my lane). We snap another shot yet again and drive off (hinahabol ko yung tindahan ng Sun Cellular, magsasara na ). Expedition did not follow anymore. Just drove at a snail's pace until reaching the flyover (I turned left underneath the flyover, he went on top).


Bad trip talaga mga taong ganito. Akala mo sa kanila ang daan. Cybershot lang pala katapat. hehehehe.

Ganda pa naman ng Expedition nya... mukhang Eddie Bauer spec yan. :mad:

Pero kung ganyan din lang ugali nya sa pagmamaneho... mas babagay sya sa Minica.

Gagamitin ko sana when I'm towing something heavy. Heavy-gat din pala ang presyo. hehehehe.

meron din ako naencounter na ganyan noon Black suburban sa may Congressional. todo wangwang tapos singit ng singit tututukan ka pa...aba lalo ko binagalan di makasingit. Pagdating dun sa visayas ave nakita ko driver lang pala yung mokong.

dapat kase ang bawal ay bawal... pag extreme emergency situations naman pwede mo naman ibright headlights mo tapos hazzard lights on and busina ka and the other motorists will understand na emergency yun.

Just like before nung nakabangga ako ng bata I just did those things and tumabi naman yung ibang sasakyan to let me pass para makarating sa hospital.

Yung black Suburban dito lang samin nakatira yun. Malapit ko nang hagisan ng brake fluid ang p*t*ng in*ng yun, eh. Yabang talaga.

Sabi ni Vicco ito yung may escort na 'hot' LC 70 series minsan. Duda ko mainit din ang Pajero nung mga iyon.

Makarma na lang sana sila.

Dito lang naman sa pinas mukhang mayaman ka pag naka exped. What people dont realize is ang dami dami naka exped dito. So paano magiging status symbol yan?

bastos nga yung mga ganon eh..dami ko ring nakikita na mga suburban na naka-on palagi yung ilaw..ano feeling nila? lahat naman tayo nagmamadali eh..sino ba sila na dapat mauna sila sa akin? pumila rin sila sa traffic ryt? parang mga gov't officials yan na palaging nag-cu-cut sa traffic. if they dont line up in traffic how will they know the situation itself and do something about it?
and to think this is a democratic country..who are they that they should be first?kahit nga presidente yun di ko rin papadaanin sila eh haha kawawa lang nga ang mga talagang may emergency..damay sila dahil isispin ng tao feeling lang yun na gustong sumingit for no reason

DragOn::: Have you tried cutting into the lane of the Presidential convoy? Yung mga hagad na nasa bikes, pupukpukin ang bintana mo muna... sabay makakatanggap ka ng insults at mura. Then the PSGs in Patrol units will go down and point at you long rifles. Last but not the least, police patrol cars behind the convoy will arrest you, citing you for recklessness.

Lesson: Palusutin mo na mga pulitiko, wala ka namang mapapalang mabuti kung haharangan mo sila. Let's admit it that they are using our money at their own expenses, but hey! They are in the position to do so, not like us, the ordinary citizens.

ako usually naka headlights on sa kalsada. reason ko lang naman mas kita ako para di pagewang gewang magneho ang mga drivers. pero never naman ako asal pulitiko. wala akong wang wang wala din strobes. alam ko kasi pag nagpalagay ako ogag ako at gagamitin ko yun kaya di na lang diba?

cool lang tau sa daan lahat naman tau, we simply all want to get to where we are going...
