Just want to share my unfortunate / bad experience last dec.21 at DMIA (Diosdado Macapagal International Airport), me, my wife & my 5yrs old son will spend sana a Christmas vacation on HK from Dec.21-27 . Day before the the actual flight date we booked a hotel near clark airport pa kasi 7:00 am yun flight so dapat mga 5:00 am nandoon na kami sa airport (fyi galing pa kami ng la union), nun dec.21 na after doing the usual pre departure procedure, check-in baggage, get boarding pass, pay travel tax n terminal fee… eto na problem….. sa immigration… when the immigration officer encode my name (btw my name is very very very common fil-chi name… similar to nick ong, Joel lim , albert chua…something like that) , the immigration officer ask me if first time ko mag travel abroad , pansin niya kasi siguro new lang passport ko issued dec.03,2008, sagot ko hindi, ask niya when was the last time I travel, sagot ko last april 2007 Japan, ask niya ulit if dala ko old passport ko, sabi ko NO, eversince kc I travel I don’t bring my old passport, sabi niya may problema… kasi lumabas sa computer nila nasa HOLD DEPARTURE ORDER yun name ko, SAME middle initial pa “G”, ask ko siya what is the COMPLETE middle initial yun nasa HDO, pareho ba sa passport ko? Hindi daw niya alam kasi G lang daw lumalabas sa computer nila, ask ko ulit if may picture/passport number/birthday or other info para to compare if ako nga yun, sagot niya WALA , ang meron lang daw is the issued date ng HDO aug.07,2008 and issue by a certain Judge Dimagiba, so sinamahan ako ng immigration officer sa office nila to further ask his supervisor daw, when his supervisor came, check niya sa computer ulit nila, HINDI daw talaga me pwede me lumabas kasi kapareho ko daw yun name , ask ko ulit so check the complete middle name and other info, same din sagot niya, WALA daw silang other info, nag kataon Sunday pa yun wala daw office so hindi daw hindi daw nila ma verify sa main office, BADTRIP!!!! , after that naisip ng office to check the court order record issued to them , same pa rin walang complete middle initial and no other info ang nadagdag lang is that person has violated R.A. 9262 daw, ask ko anong violation yun, HINDI daw nila alam , so ginawa namin almost 6:45 am na kasi yun, balik kami sa counter ng cebu pacific (close na that time) to withdraw our check-in baggage na, muntik pa hindi umabot, make a refund on terminal fee and pag dating sa travel tax AYAW na irefund  badtrip ulit, gamitin na lang daw next time, valid for 1year. Pero kailangan cebu pac. Din daw

Ang nakaka inis I don’t know if sa DMIA lang ito o pareho sa other airport, dapat naman pag may HDO sila dapat KUMPLETO yun detail nun person, para hindi naman madamay mga iba, nag request pa ako ng certification sa immigration to certify that hindi me matuloy because of same name in HDO para ipakita ko sana sa cebu pacific to avoid penalty, ayaw nila so mgayon I think Penalty me sa cebu pacific , hotel booking in HK 2nd thing dapat naka sulat sa HDO yun complete violation ng tao not the number alone (in my case R.A.9262) kasi what if criminal or drug case yun , eh hindi naman alam ng immigration officer , I mean basta ganun na lang hindi ka pwede lumabas pero hindi ka rin huhuliin kasi hindi alam ng immigration officer ano yun violation mo unless lawyer siya o may reference sila.

Tama, kuha ka na now ng certification from BID or sa court nung Judge Dimagiba na hindi ikaw yung may kaso at naka HDO. Habangbuhay mo ng dadalhin yan tuwing mag abroad ka. Ganyan din sa tatay ko, very common name din.

Ako rin may kapangalan na may mga pending cases sa courts, pero buti nalang walang HDO. Yung isa mail-order bride, tapos yung isa nangbugbog daw ng asawa

5pm na pero buti na lang meron pa tao sa office ... nakiusap ako sa secretary na i-fax sa immigration yung travel permit, pirmado ng bossing nya ... nai-fax naman almost 6 pm na ... isang oras din kaming kabado nun ... napabili tuloy ako pasalubong para sa secretary ... kakainis pero naaliw din ako sa immigration officer kasi hottie sya

Bukod sa i point out ko na may pagka bopols yung programmer nung HDO system, I guess wala din namang choice yung mga taga immigration. Mapalad ako at yung 2 alam ko na kapangalan ko ay mabait at successful yata pareho.

may kapangalan din ako sa colombia, drug trafficker naman. nung nag-renew ako ng visa sa US nung 1995 inabot ng 4 months bago ko na-renew. tapos ilan beses din ako naba-body search pag pumupunta ako ng US at ask nila kung galing ako south america. ask ko sila kung mukha ba ako colombian o south american, double check lang daw. minsan nga sumagot ako ng paputol-putol na spanish ayun pati medyas ko pinadaan sa x-ray hehehe!

very unfortunate, it also happened to us before, we had a family vacation, it was my aunt naman and meron parehong pangalan, but from what I remember eh nakaalis pa rin naman siya kasama namin.

AUTHORITY TO TRAVEL ABROAD. kelangan talaga yan Sir. for some group of government employees, travelling without it constitutes both criminal and administrative offenses.

i know of somebody who denied his government employment but then when he was in Malaysia, he was robbed, his passport was likewise taken by the criminal. He was left without a choice but to ask the Phil consulate to reconstitute his travel docs. pag uwi niya, may kaso na siya...

this is very odd and highly irregular. if you have the time and energy, sue.
