who's with me? hehehe.
Save the trees of the plastic rainforest! Also save automotive style!
Let's all let the carmakers make our cars look stupid!
imho. the performance of a car does not depend on the wood trimmings. i don't think this thread will go somewhere.
which car models are you pertaining to ? The Hyundai Starex, Toyota Innova G spec, Altis G spec, Camry , Accord,
it's just a thread for fun. hehehe. so you guys do like your wood trim? lol
well, you'll be surprised that a lot of people still like those fake wood trimmed panels.
wood trims are nice if aesthetically designed. or in other words, constructed in good taste hehehe
Too late, I've already had my fake wood trim-equipped Adventure for close to two years now. Though I won't exactly say that it looks bad. :D
Me too i have wood trims in my revo...ok lang naman...malamig nga sa mata..besides its made of plastic..no trees were harmed in making it.
This thread is close....hehehe.....joke lang po!
depending on how it is shaded, personally, the fake trim in my altima dash isn't bad... the reddish one sa innova is quite an eyesore though... with "real" wood trims like the ones from older cars, they add so much character to a luxo car...
now if we see wood trims on "sporty" models, then dapat ngang batukan yung nagisip nun hehe.
the Accord with those gaudy wood trim will rocket to 100kph in 7 seconds. not bad. hehe.
hehehe. how sad. well, yeah sometimes it looks good. but even if i had a luxobarge, i'd rather have the real thing or something else. but fake wood...the logic simply escapes me. hehe.
fake wood is everywhere. mall shop designs look good in beech color pero hindi naman talaga wood yun.
in fact, mas ok nga na hindi real wood yan nakakabit sa tsikot mo coz madali mag-chip off yun or pag minalas-malas ka pa eh pamahayan ng anay yun.
i think the cefiro also uses faux wood trim (my '97 atleast). i don't think its bad at all.
Ok na sana steering wheel ng Altis, its wrapped in leather, well almost all of it, except for the wood trim on the top part![]()
ETO IBOYCOTT hehe
How far can a designer push the envelope when adding wood to a car? Observe this exquisite Lagonda V-12 Rapide boattail, finished entirely in tulipwood!
From steering wheels to dashboards, from woodies to boattail speedsters to the exquisite tulipwood Lagonda, wood has always been part of the automobile, much admired for its beauty and appreciated for its versatility and strength.

Tataas cost ng bunot kung staple ng detailers to serve such automobiles hehe... Imbes na rustproofing, termite control na...
