They just released another partial result yesterday. As I remember:

    Mid-Size SUV: Fortuner
    Large-Size SUV: Alterra
    AUV: Crosswind
    Pickup: D-Max

    Automobile of the Year: Alterra

I am not surprised that Isuzu is topping the surveys. I wonder why... :hysterical:

To note, the XC90 & Trailblazer was categorized as a Mid-Size while the X5 was in the Large-Size category. The Outback was also in the Large-Size category.

They also placed the Alterra in the Large-Size category. :hysterical:

Last year, the Alterra, Crosswind & D-Max won in their respective classes while the Crosswind is the Automobile of the year.

This awards sounds really fishy to me.

    Diba CAGI ang prestigious?

Di ko maintindihan kung pano ang rules nila, across-the-board ang segments eh.

May improvement naman ang show nya lately which is a good move for him(at least hindi na biased sa CAMPI members at mga regular advertisers nya)....

Yung awards?Panay nga Toyota yan eh mayroon ding Honda....Eh yung Isuzu eh talagang nagbayad yan para manalo sila...

    Best sports car:

    3. Subaru WRX STI
    2. Lancer Evo
    1. Porsche 911

Hindi ipinasok yung Isuzu Gemini masyado daw kasing halata pag pumasok sa top 3

Yeah,.... Its really unbelievable... I was expecting other cars... I was also gonna expect the Sta. Fe to be the chosen one.

Anyway, about sa TV show, yep, it has to improve. I hate that GTA Background music they play... Issshhhh...

The Autofocus awards are laughable. Isuzu and Chevrolet spent quite a bit on prepaid cards (made the telcos pretty happy, too) on the first one to pad their votes. I was watching the voting for a while... if you see votes for one car coming in every minute while the others hardly move, you know something is wrong.

I don't even pay attention to it, anymore... what's the point? At least the PCOTY awards are based on objective judging. Sure, it's enthusiast-biased, which means the most fun car wins, but at least it's honest.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
