Ang lakas sa gas ng Revo VX200 A/T namin. Probably some of you will say matipid but in my case I get an average of 8km/litre sometimes 9 pag highway 10.

The things I like in this revo is its maneuverability. It can make a u turn like a 1.6litre car. Parang mas maiksi pa nga turning radius nito kaysa old civic namin and its fast for an AUV.

Matipid na ba itong fuel consumption ko or not?

Yung 1.8 kasi ang nagamit ko dati, eh. Malakas talaga sa gas kasi kailangan ko pa i-rev ang engine palagi just to keep up with traffic.

An Expedition is more fuel efficient that a Revo. Lalo na sa long hauls.

    boybi,

Parang ganun nga. Saka ang ikli ng gearing ng REVO. Kailangan nito 6th gear at 7th gear sa highway, eh. Parang hinihika na. Taas ng revs ang ingay!

Expedition parang naka-off ang makina at highway speeds. hehehe.

Tingin ko for an A/T gas ay ok na ang consumption niya. You can't really compare the fuel consumption of your L200 to your Revo dahil mas matipid talaga ang diesel.

Nasa 6++. Yung 1.8 na gamit namin dati, worse than that ang figure, eh.

2.0litre 105hp ata.

But whenever I pin the pedal to the metal umaabot sya ng 5500rpm before it shifts to a higher gear. Bakit ganun?

Dahil kaya sa size at height niya kaya parang mas mabagal than a lower riding car?

'yong revo ng officemate ko na 2.0 A/T... 6-7km/li sa city driving, so tingin ko 'yon na malamang ang normal consumption niya.

Usokpower, ok na ok na yang ave. of 8km/l ng VX200 nyo....considering A/T pa yan. Mine is VX200 M/T averaging 6.3 - 7 km/L on city driving.

Mga sir pwede na bang magpa tune-up even though wala pang 10k mileage ko.....baka kc mag-improve fuel mileage? Thanks!

    for revo 2.0 M/T
lagi ako fulltank sa shell maya at super unleaded lang..

eto worst record ko..(very short distance travel everyday)
    47Km / 15.82liters = 2.97 Km/liter

eto average ko from within makati at uwi ng maragondon every weekend
    226Km / 34.93 =6.47 Km/liter
    214Km / 31.88 =6.71 Km/liter
    231Km / 33.05 =6.99 Km/liter

eto ang highway driving from makati to dagupan and vice versa via camiling.. panay birit at panay overtake..
    431.7Km / 53.77 =8.03 Km/liter

hayy.. lakas talaga sa gas hehe

Biglang nabuhay itong thread na ito ah...

I have worse averages on my VX A/T. My average is 4.5kms/liter city driving. Pero December yun, so medyo matindi ang everyday traffic. So always on low gears ako, at start-stop ang takbo.

My Tagaytay trip was better at 6.5kms/liter. Pero ang gastos pa rin.

But apart from the fuel (in)efficiency, sulit talaga. Just like driving a sedan... I still think this AUV has the best interiors in its class.

While most of the posts regarding VX 200's gas consumption are accurate, some missed to post how much is the mileage of the vehicle you are driving. The gas consumption would be at manufacturer's specification when vehicles are already broken-in and with a mileage of at least 2,000-2,500 km. I am not surprised if most of you experienced so much gas during the early days of your car but just observe when you get that mark after 2,000 km. It is supposed to improve after that.

Also, the right way to break-in a brand new car is not to maintain the same speed for an extended period of time until a mileage of about 800-1,000 km to break-in different RPM's.

    Ciao!
