Tuner Ideas Needed

guys pede magtanong nang next project ko?

i ran out of ideas. pero ang balak ko kasi e buy ng 2nd hand Honda Jazz. tapoz salpakan ng muscular engine na 1.6. and punuin ko ng body kits saka gwapong spoiler. balak ko rin palitan ung name nya from Jazz to Jurazzic.

Is this a good idea or just simply nuts? I dunno...

Give me ideas kung di nyo type ung weird idea ko.

Jazz of Gaby de la Merced sports a 2.0 K20 engine, so a 1.6 shouldn't be that difficulty... it has been done dude, especially kung spoiler at kits lang madadagdag.

Noong drag racing way back when... (wala pang building sa Ortigas Center... ahihi... ) may Lancer box-type, SL ang tatak, puro masilya... only 3 mods:

1.8 GSR engine
2-shot NOS... yahoo!

kung magpapalit ka ng engine might as well get the most powerful engine you can fit in there....2.0 or maybe a 1.6T.

Why do a Jazz? In a few years, when secondhand engine prices for the K-series go down, K20 equipped Jazzes will become commonplace.

If you want to do something truly unique and original, and you're going to spend on a relatively new car to do it with... why not buy a secondhand Hyundai Getz (they're not that expensive, and there's one being sold with a bodykit and mags already) and find the biggest diesel engine you can fit in there... how does a 150 hp 2.2 CRDi turbo-diesel sound? Eh? Maybe not as good as a 200 hp K20, but the K20 doesn't have 250+ ft lbs of torque to back it up. Talk about cooking, those front tires won't last a week...

Give it some decent breathing upgrades, including an intercooler and a cold-air intake, and bigger exhaust pipes, and that's 170+ hp easy.

anyway, on making a sleeper car, besides the big engine , how about a twin exhaust system but you paint the other muffler black so it won't show from afar but you see it when you come close? that would be cool

oh, and BIG brembo brakes hidden inside big rims with a solid pattern?

oh oh, four wheel drive! baka puwede yung system ng 4wd na odyssey from japan hehe

meron pa kya akong mki2ta dito na AE86 GT apex Trueno na for sale dito???.... tyaka meron din kya me mki2ta na 4AGE 20v 1.6L engine?? d2 sa pinas??.. ksi may nkita me sa net na gnung engine tpos ang out put niya is 240 BHP tpos $699 lang plus shipping.. kasi pangarap ko tlaga ang Hachiroku eh!! Tyka mag kno kya ang budget ko?? ung all in na??..... may shop kya na nkagwa na nito?? engine swap and tuning ng Hachiroku?? thnks guys!!

not sure on the current price locally, but around 1-2 years ago, you could get a 4AGE 20v for around 25-30k.

*yes there are truenos here, you just gotta find 'em - there was one for sale in the tsikot ads 3 months ago...
*yes sir ssaloon is right, there are blacktop and silvertop 4AGEs here, 35thou for a typical silvertop, plus labor and wiring. there are excellent shops that charge 50 thou up.
*yes there are good shops who can do the engine swap and tuning of a trueno. there is a shop in katipunan owned by a race driver. he's got a hachiroku himself.
