okay ang styling ng estima, medyo egg-shape din, looks like cross between old previa and largo.

how much ba mga ganyan ngayon, di ba mahirap parts?

    caloyski5
yup Previa din ito but the Old Previa.Ang name Previa dito sa Pnas but in japan its AERAS Estima and sa US,Aus.,Can. i heard its Estima meron din mga model na lumabas like EMINA,LUCIDA nag kaiba sila sa dashboard, headlight(naging singkit),the body naging ***y ang estima kc macho ang body i mean mataba (hehehe tulad ko).
About the service from casa nag tanong narin po ako kay Sir Marantz pero sabi nya di raw nag se service ang casa ng Toyota kung ang oto ay galing ng Subic Auction unless ikaw ang mismo ang nagdala ng car dto sa pnas at ikaw ang nag pa convert.

    pparado

    garyq

    hi Ross,

we got the same ride, at least for my parents. eto yung driving impression ko sa kanya.

    * acceleration; okay for an automatic so alittle slow.
    * cruising: yes this thing is built for that,
    * engine: alittle noisy during acceleration but it settles down
quite a bit once u picked up steam.
    * interior: oh yes, this thing has got everything, u know its
really much higher quality compared with Revo or other
    AUV's.

    Known problems:
    - brakes: bumababa sya, very dangerous. then we had it
replace the Brake Cylinder Master kit fm. FX. but
somehow still doesn't feel right. and seems like
Toyota Casa say its different fm. the locally sold one.

    - A/C: it seems to overheat when continuosly used. anybody
knows of a good shop that can deal with JPN imports?

OverAll: its really a Toyota, well built vehicle. at walang kalampag even having 180,000km on the odometer. Still running very strong. But the dashboard lights and headlights could need some brightening up.

Can anyone recommend me those above fixes?

    Parakito,
You might need a bigger brake master cylinder.
A/C: you have to see what was the conversion done to it muna, it may need a bigger radiator or it may be something else.

We can take a closer look at it at our shop if you want.

Mine is Toyota Estima Emina 1995 2.4L GAS DOHC 16V Super Charge. Ok naman yung sa akin no problem at all.

PARAKITO, Akin kahit tirik araw front and rear aircon naka AUTO CLIMATE pa ako walang overheat lagi lang siya nasa 1/4 temp gauge. TIP: Drain your radiator then top up with Distilled water & Coolant. Brakes no problem din they used OEM parts for the conversion and also the steering assembly.

sa ngayon eh nasa probinsya yung Estima Lucida, i'll probably have a shop look at it again pag dinala sa Manila.

    >>You might need a bigger brake master cylinder.
u mean the rubber inside the cylinder? mukha nga kasi
lumulubog yung preno kapag naka-apak kang matagal w/o
    visible leaks of brakefluid.

di ko lang sure, i think there's some part in the AC unit that needs to be replaced. but then again yung radiator din siguro needs to be checked.

    salamat.

baka siguro talagang hi-mileage lang yung nakuha namin. that's good to hear that most of these 2nd. hand imports could still be trouble free ride.

    what's MVIS?

so far here in japan two of my friends riding estima and estima emina pero wala naman akong narinig na problema like yours, and i alrady ask my friend (mekaniko from toyota) wala naman syang sinabing madaling bumigay sa estima.Better check tha radiator as what Auto_xer told you pa check mo required mechanic naman sya ng tsikot baka maka discount pa tayo...........dba Auto_xer

meron kasi akong binili dito headlight beam
140/130 w at 110/100w itong 110/100w pag naka low beam cristal white ang kulay at pag nag hi-beam nagiging cristal yellow bali twin color ito.
Kailangan parin ba ang separate wiring for the headlight pag nagpalit ng mas mataas ng watts?
