February 13th, 2007 10:18 PM #2aerodynamics. a fully open sunroof will produce additional drag on the vehicle thus reducing fuel economy. on the other hand a tilted sunroof produces better ventilation effect but with minimal impact on the vehicle's aerodynamics (less drag).
