Ganun ba ka mahal ang Bi-xenon?

Pumunta kami ni Theveed sa CATS motors...(balak ko kasi upgrade yung headlights ko)...tanong ko yung Bi-xenon for my C..

125k per pc...labas pa raw labor sa pag-kabit...lupet!

Meron ba dito (Tsikot Member) na naka-Bi-xenon??.magkano po bili ninyo?..para sa anong ride? thanks!..

Mahal yun kasi dealer price. Sa bagay mahal talaga ang xenon headlamps.

Price at http://hidkits.com/products_bixenon.htm ranges from $450-$750. Minsan, abangan daw sa eBay yung seller hidkits.com and nagbebenta for $350.00 lang.

henz, yung prices above is for the complete kit. May mga 'upgrade kit' from ebay for $198.00 lang H4 ang karamihang nakikita ko.

Bi-Xenon is a type of HID bulb where you can retain both the high beam and low beam. Whereas for the regular HID, high-beam is gone.

The problem with Hen's beautific C kasi is that he needs to change the whole headlight assembly and not just the bulb/ballast kit... The C class halogen housing is different from the HID housing... We still think the price is too absurd... I mean... A set of HID can go up to 80K a set (pair), how can the housing cost 170K a pair??

Kahit di ko kotse yan di padin ako papayag sa presyo hehe...

On the other hand, si Hens naman yan eh, chikenfeet... :D

Seryoso, though... Sa US, under $800-$1000 ang upgrade ng HID from Halogen for the C-Class, so mga 60-100K lang sya dapat lahat... Eto casa price na to sa US ha... Just found out the other day...

Sa Banawe 25-38K ang Hi-Low HID kits. Xenon gas discharged bulbs and High Intensity Discharged bulbs are the same.

Ang tanong kung anong klaseng bulb yang nasa MB ni hens. Most kits sold have H4 adapters.

Akala ko kasi yun C-class uses another bulb for Hi-beam heheheheh.

At least alam ko na ibig sabihin ng Bi-Xenon.

125K for an Bi-Xenon kit is waaay too much. Bi- Xenon HID kits are readily available from a low of Php25T to a high of Php35T depending on the kelvin rating. pwede ikabit sa kahit anong ride basta yung headlamp housing ay hindi sealed type. It works best at pinakamaganda ang spread sa kalye when fitted sa mga projector type na headlamps.
TIP: do not get a kelvin rating over 6000 kelvin . remember that the higher the kelvin rating the bluer the light. a 6000k rating is the best in my opinion...talagang HID ang dating. yung mga 7000k and up nagmumukha ng blue plasma bulb ng PIAA or Phillips....nawawala yung pagka HID and ang hirap pa gamitin sa gabi lalo na pag umuulan tapos aspalto yung road.

Di pwede HID lang kasi totally iba ang reflectors ng HID version..

Technically pwedeng palitan lang kasi H4/H1 combo ang HID ng stock nya kaya lang di bagay kung ganun hehe, halos lahat ng OEM Xenon reflectorized clear lexan ang headlight hindi frosted glass look

So wala pala talagang high-beam ang regular HID (baduy!)?

Yung uncle ko kasi pinakabitan nila yung isa nilang Everest na demo unit ng HID kit. Sabi niya pag nilagay mo sa high-beam yung headlights, nagbablackout siya. Akala namen mali yung kabit ng relays or something.

Tifosi::: Naging ganyan din sakit ng HID kit ko, fusible link ang sira nung sa akin. After replacing it, di na pantay ang highs. Pinatay ko na lang din, ngayon dim function na lang. Minsan nga pala maluwag lang yung hook ng link konting diin gagana na.
