you all think toyota philippines will bring Scion to the philippine shores? Scion is one of last year's few US automotive success stories. toyota's youth brand succeeded in two ways: 1-sales. it sold 100,000 units last year with only 3 models xA, xB and tC , which came out in july. 2-more than half of those 100k people who bought scions are younger than 35, which was toyota's reason in coming out with scion.btw, there's another piece about honda civic losing steam and allure to the 3 scions among young modders. and the rumor that the toyota porte and toyota yaris are coming stateside to become future scions.this smells like more success, even nissan and honda are bringing their fitz and cube to the US to battle scion.

ive been dreaming bout the xA n tc...sana they'll launch it here but i doubt if ever it will be branded scion, maybe toyota pa rin.

they should bring the TC and price it less than 900k then that'll be something to look forward to

Maganda ang marketing strategy ng Scion. They really appeal to the young crowd as well as to first time buyers.

Pero parang gusto ko ng Honda Element if ever I wanted a box-mobile. :D

yet another reported future Scion vehicle (from the Toyota Aygo in Europe, produced together by Toyota and Peugeot Citroen). Ummm, could this be Scion xD then?

Actually, the Tiburon is ***ier than the stubby tC...

Toyota probably won't bring it in, as it would compete too closely with the Altis. Most companies don't bring in their top-sellers from the US due to differing market perceptions (never mind market demand... you KNOW people would buy these cars if they were sold here...), and Toyota, with its generous market share, is less inclined than most to compete with itself.

of course, it helped that Scion's cars were all incredibly cheap, perfect for students and fresh graduates... i wonder how profitable scion was for toyota
