    Somehow mass production, simplicity in design, r&d and economies of scale
    have a greater impact on the car than cost per unit.

    even in top gear and fifth gear, those cars that cost upwards of 100,000 pounds have problems popping up during testing.

    And I think that yes, it's a given... since most Luxury cars are European, not Japanese.
