May 21st, 2007 11:38 AM #3ako rin, get the city. its newer, tsaka at least pumatak na ng 2000's yung model, hindi 90's. the 20,000kms difference (from 87k to 66k) is also a big factor for most. am not sure if the 98 toyota is still the bigger body one but if it is, then the city is much smaller and easier to get used to.

i'd go for the City. less mileage. try to haggle for a lower price though.

Negotiate for the reduction of the price from the 2 sellers. Whoever gives the lower price, yung ang kunin mo. If they give the same price or if the difference is just 5k or less, buy the City.

May 21st, 2007 03:01 PM #6thanks to those who replied.
i also wanna ask if i consider the maintenance, spare parts costs and availability, which one is better?
coz ive heard that honda's spare parts are more expensive, and not always available unlike the toyota.
i mean this honda is a newer model than the corolla.
as per mileage is concern honda is better.
but if i will consider the future maintenance costs which one do you think is the better choice? i am not that familiar with that. i need pros' advice.
thanks again guys.

hehehe i know in your heart you like honda city because it is newer, lesser millage over toyota
but you are hesitant because of maintenance cost...i would suggest follow your heart and buy the city don't mind the cheaper maintenance of toyota it can be compensated by honda city's fuel efficiency.....

This time i will choose City.Fuel efficent yan.Ayaw kolang talaga appearance ng city.
Pero sa availability ng parts sa corolla parin ako.
