P-Park (pwede ka mag start, pero di aandar)
R-Reverse(ano pa nga ba?)
N-Neutral(ganun din)
D-Drive(aandar)
1(1st gear)
2(2nd)
RACE? he..heR-Reverse(ano pa nga ba?)
kapag naka off ang over drive, hanggang 3rd gear lang ang 4speed tranny mo, ok ito sa city driving,
yung 1 and 2 maraming hindi gumagamit nito, use that 1 and 2 for climbing and added traction

Same as pajerokid posted:
P = Park (engine can be started in this gear)
R = Reverse (backing up your vehicle)
N = Neutral (some vehicles won't start in this gear)
D = Normal driving gear
2 = Tranny shifts up to 2nd gear only. (better suited for climbing and descending roads and loading vehicles)
1 = Tranny shifts up to 1st gear only. (when pure engine power is needed for such roads, ie. snow and mud)
think of it as an extra gear... so if your car's A/T is 1,2,D ...Originally Posted by ssaloon
With the O/D off, you get 1,2,3.
With the O/D on, you get 1,2,4.
