Ako i really like the older ones, the pre "9-whatever" models which are based on GM cars already. The airplane-like cockpit, massive interior space and the "swede feel" is quite an experience.

taht's true, but the new subaru wagon is just too ugly on the outside for my taste.

    kumusta kaya ang reliability nito?

Subaru is one of the reliable cars here in the U.S. as long as hindi mo sosobrahan ang pag mod sa engine

Not really. The 9-2x is the only Subaru. The next 9-2 will be a Sigma platform car (AFAIK, but I might be wrong), while the upcoming 9-7 will be a Chevy Equinox re-skin.

The last true Saabs are the current 9-3 and 9-5, which are great cars. The 9-2x is basically a less powerful WRX with more sound-deadening and a body kit. Not impressed.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

but you guys have to admit, with the incredible dsicounts on GM products now, the SAAB 9-2 is a great buy and looks a lot better than the subaru wagons.

    what do you guys think?

i agree with you. kung sold ka sa reliability ng Subaru (and we all know about their performance), add in the better looks of the Saab and some upgraded luxury features, and it's a pretty good buy

    Ahh, the Saabaru 9-2x

Mas better looking nga ang front ng Saabaru kesa Impreza. I've never had an STi or any other Subaru but the bugeye WRX...and the interior is meehh. And the 5-spd tranny? :swear:

Subaru reliability?! Never had a problem but the 5-spd tranny just sucks a$$.
