Those things fall under car control/evasive maneuvers. Medyo mahirap iyan. Dapat meron muna silang basic driving skills before moving up to that. Yung braking AND steering I still have a tendency to forget (I revert back to the instictive slamming of the brakes sometimes).
There are also other driving subspecialties like emergency driving (intended for ambulance and other emergency personell), tactical (for VIP transport, police, etc.) among others.
TRS din ang narinig ko na nag-ooffer ng evasive driving dati. Can't confirm, though. Hindi ko din sure if may wet track facilities tayo locally for hydroplane exercises. Pero yung ibang items like tire blow out, failed brakes, failed clutch, etc. pwede ituro on any reasonable stretch of road. Meron naman atang access sa road course ang TRS.
I taught my brother, cousins, some friends, etc. basic driving plus a lil bit of emergencies pero masyado daw ako stressful magturo. Sabi ko naman, stressful naman talaga mag-drive.
Typical in-car scenario:
"Power! Power! Power! Steer! Brake! Countersteer! Power! Power! Power! Brake! Brake! Brake!" hahahaha. Those were the days.
Nung nagpaturo kami ng basic off-road driving sa Pampanga, akala ko mawawalan na ng boses yung nagtuturo kakahiyaw sakin.Last edited by OTEP; November 18th, 2006 at 03:52 PM.
