tapping sound on my silver top..tappets???

help nga paps!!! i have this tapping sound sa silver top ko...they say its just normal for a silver top...sa tappets daw un...in sure...when it was new (sa japan) wala nung sound na un....gusto ko sanang mawala...ar atleast mabawasan ung tunog...any suggestions???

anybody there who could help me??? some people say the noise comes from the valve train...and they say its normal on other websites....anybody who could help me??? pls post your reply....thanks...

try using higher octane gas baka mawala. Yung escudo ko dati may tope but i swithed to higher octane gas nawala. try mo nalang to muna

Is it a consistent tapping (almost rattling), or more of a random "every so often" tapping? If it's the latter, and it's not unlikely that it's "pinging," and you need to use higher octane gas. If it's a consistent beat of tapping.. well.. it could be anything .

The big question is: how does it run? May tope ba? If it runs fine, it probably isn't "pinging".
